Best popcorn hands down. You just get the Garret Special which is cheddar and caramel. Must get it warm and fresh - and the souvenir tin is a sweet extra.
Amazingly fast and efficient service, with well packaged and flavorful offerings. We were in and out quickly and enjoyed our different flavors, including the Garrett Mix and the Pecan Crisp (so good!). It was fairly inexpensive as well for gourmet popcorn!
Every time I go to Chicago I have to stop here they never disappoint.
Excellent popcorn, especially if you like caramel. I arrived around 7pm on a Saturday to a depleted stock, caramel with almonds being all that was left. The small size is generous. I don't advise eating it all in one way, though it was hard to stop eating before the bottom was reached. Caramel com

I visited this Garrett's shop on 87th and cottage Grove yesterday and today and received great customer service courtesy of Ms. Tiffany and her team. There was just something special about the energy in that space and I'm sure it emanates from the warmth of Miss Tiffany's kind demeanor. I wish more
Popcorn is always fresh. Employees are always courteous and helpful. Quick service. Glad they're still in the neighborhood especially post pandemic. Garretts is a self help comfort treat. So please "stay in the neighborhood"😊
Nice place for the most part. I've never had a problem with the popcorn not being fresh. I use the drive-up . Never a long wait, and people are always nice. Popcorn still tastes the same.
When I drive in from Ohio, I always stop at this location because the popcorn is always fresh. I'm not the only one....the license plates in the parking lot when I was there were from Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, New York New York.
This popcorn is so good. It was really hard to stop eating it. We always get the garett mix. Or those of us outside of the area call Chicago mix. The staff here was really nice and sweet.

Chicago is known for Garrett's Popcorn Shop. They have about 6 or 7 varieties. The Popcorn is cooked all the way through, not hard and full of kernels as some people's tend to be. My favorite is the Chicago Mix. It's mixed with cheddar cheese and Carmel Popcorn, yum
Popcorn is one of my all time favorite snacks, and Garrett did not disappoint! The mix between the cheesy and the caramel popcorn is great. The service was also good and the shop was clean. I bought a small can of popcorn mix and had it stored for almost 8 days, the caramel popcorn still tasted fres
Popcorn was fresh, tasty and crunchy. I was able to go in and order and get my popcorn fast. Never a disappointment.

This is a Chicago Classic and will always be a fan fave. I love the convenience of the Chatham site. The spicy cheese popcorn 🍿 was delicious, but give me the caramel & cheese mix anyday.
