Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro - Chicago - Photo album

Great Irish pub with live music and a ton of TVs that are either playing futbol matches or tons of other sports. Crazy this place used to be a funeral home but it's very spacious and they have a very large traditional Irish menu, didn't get the chance to eat but will be back to try some things.
A beautiful Irish bar with a very spacious interior. Stopped in for a spot of whiskey and also, after viewing pictures others posted, got the Guinness onion soup which was bitterly decadent. I recommend it. They also sell a few Irish dairy, confections, jams, whiskey and other items. Cute!
Beautiful space awesome events all the time. Everybody seems to love the food, beverages & they have a general store. Music & Irish language taught here too!
Nice Irish Bar with live music - piano and guitar. The place was full and we had to sit by the bar. Good collection of Irish whiskeys to choose from. As you enter, you’ll also find a small grocery store inside with Irish and British Candies and Biscuits (cookies). Alcohol available too in retail bu
This was the upstairs where we went for a wedding and reception. Very nice venue.
I hosted my friends' engagement party this past weekend at Mrs. Murphy & Sons. This was one of my first times hosting a big party like this and the staff (especially James) made the experience so easy. Food = Outstanding Space = Outstanding Staff = Outstanding I would recommend to anyone intereste
A true Irish Pub with excellent service and outstanding food Live Irish Bands twice a week. Excellent location . I had the Corned Beef and Cabbage.. It was the best Corned Beef I have had in year's.
Come on Wednesdays for Trad sessions (Traditional Irish Music)! The resident / guest artist do a great job - there isnt much better than listening by the fireplace, with Guiness Stew and a Pint. Authentic Irish Stew and soda bread!
Like the space and beer selection. The food is still coming up short/flavorless (and, no, it's not salt I'm looking for). Great rental space upstairs, too. Heard the ribs are good...
Murphy's is the best! Their food is outstanding and the atmosphere is spacious, welcoming, and the live Irish music is lovely. You can tell this place is well-run.
Saturday brunch on Memorial Day weekend. There was a soccer match on. Thank goodness someone thought of making a reservation. While their brunch menu is limited it has some great options. Irish breakfast items are plentiful. And, they have a small selection of lunch items. Black and White puddings,
great food menu Family Friendly Richard the bartender is knowledgeable ,cordial and delightful
Love this place, best fish and chips in the city. Amazing grocery store too!
Enjoyed the atmosphere and food and drinks. Loved that it used to be a funeral home that I worked at many years ago. Definitely will be back.
Have visited a couple of times and the food is very good. Love the ribs and the curry.
Really enjoyed our nieces wedding at Mrs Murphy & Sons. Food & service is great. Highly recommended.
I was there for the storytelling on the second floor, which was great. So was the beer. I’m going again tomorrow and hope to have something to eat. I’ll report back. However, the folks who had food seemed to be having a good time.
I love this place. It's so warm and cozy I could stay here all evening! They're also open for most Premier League football games on the weekend! Can't say enough good things about it so you'll just have to go in and check it out to believe me!
