Big Star - Chicago - Photo album

I had the nachos ! They were delicious. My date pork and fish tacos. The margaritas looked refreshing, but we didn’t order any. The drink menu was a little steep, but it’s expected bc of the area. Oan get the Guac you won’t be disappointed. Service was fast and friendly. We went on a game day aroun
We really enjoyed our visit to Big Star. Tried different tequilas and mezcal. We also tried the nachos with pork shoulder and elote. Delicious! The bartenders were great. Good conversation and an awesome vinyl collection (they played entire albums!) Really cool scene. Thanks for having us!
My friend and I had an absolutely awesome time here. Great location with an amazing atmosphere. Truly a classic Chicago sports bar to enjoy the city from! Our hostess/server Bella was very attentive and incredibly helpful in picking the best food on the menu, and she made our experience that much be
Made reservations to eat before going to the Cubs. Our waitress couldn't be bothered to bring water to the table. However, the food came out extremely quick (not brought out by the waitress). We actually finished our meals before our water and eventually our drinks arrived. Great/quick food option b
Had an excellent time here! The host staff was super friendly, the wait staff was great, the tacos were very tasty (best pollo taco I’ve ever had). We also got the mango margarita pitcher and it was very good. 10/10 will be going again!
Nice fun bar right in front of Wrigley field. I was there on a Tuesday night in February with no baseball but the place was somewhat crowded. Staff is friendly and the tacos are good. Great place for beers/cocktails and a quick bite. Fun!
I recently visited Big Star Wrigleyville following a Cubs game. I was immediately taken aback that a security guard asked me for my ID before entering (at about 4:30 pm on a Saturday), but didn't ask me for my vaccination status. I had no plans on drinking so I'm not exactly sure why they were looki
Have been a longtime fan of Big Star, especially their fish tacos. Had the chance to try their Panza tacos which actually are now going to be a regular order. The queso was delicious too. All in all, a reliably good place to go to in Chicago. On the slightly pricier side. Service is friendly and war
Had a work event here and the staff was extremely accommodating. They let us work out a reservation for a large group on a very short timeline and they delivered excellent service and food. The paloma pitchers are amazing!!!! I was really impressed with this place, I never previously saw it as anyth
Great service, location and Tacos! 5-Stars for the service and Preston was our server. Was responsive and really knew the menu and made excellent suggestions. We were at the Cubs game and then came over for dinner. All around great atmosphere, very clean and the food was as good at their Bucktow
Great tacos and margaritas. Staff is friendly, patio is dog friendly. Take out window is handy if you're catching a game or just want to grab something quick.
Great atmosphere, open space, good service. All tacos are served with freshly made tortillas. The panza taco is amazing, the chorizo taco is on the spicy side.
Amazing food and amazing people.. Great seating available (we went when there were no games in the stadium)... tacos and the tostadas were a little expensive (my very personal opinion)
Huge new location with the same great tacos and margaritas! The 2nd level tables facing the stadium have a great view for game days. The plan to open a taco stand for late night runs. The patio isn't open yet and probably won't be ready by the 2018 Cubs season opener.
Thank you for another Big Star location! Pro-tip: if there is a long wait for a table, try to snag a seat at the bar, where they have the full menu. This location has the same great options as the Wicker Park location, but in twice the space. HUGE 2 level space with bars on both floors. They current
