I had a hard time finding an independent coffee shop with some soul on the Gold Coast, but stumbled on Dollop my last morning here and wish I had found it days ago! Great vibes, speedy service and the Stinger breakfast sammie is deadly delicious. Coffee is on point, too! Great little hidden gem 💛

The staff did a great job handling the line with just two baristas. Very well toasted bagels and my wife loves their cinnamon roll syrup.

I am writing this review while still enjoying an oat milk mocha with a savory pastry. This place is conveniently located in the business area of Chicago. It's interior design is cool, warming and inviting. The couch and sofa are absolutely comfortable. Coffee is really good, pastries are delicious, and the attention is just perfect. The patio looks nice as well but today is rather chilly to be outside. This Cafe is now one of my favorite ones in Chicago. 10/10.

We stayed close to this cute little coffee shop while in Chicago for a few days. Their cold brew is exceptional, and their pastry selection is very varied. Staff is very friendly, too!

Updating my review today after having been served by three incredibly kind baristas. They had great energy, met me with kindness, and made a great latte. I still check to see if the female presenting barista with the dirty blonde hair who slammed my drink down at me before is there, and if so, I continue my morning walk right on past it to 519 or cafecito for coffee. But I feel much more comfortable ordering at Dollop (this location or any other) after having a very positive experience this morning. Thank you!

My favorite cafe in Chicago….and I spent 18 yrs in Europe.
Elia the manager becomes a friend to everyone in the neighborhood!!!
Omar says good morning and remembers my name and makes my favorite coffee ☕️ without me uttering a word.
The coffee also tastes better - a Carmel taste to the black unsweetened drip.
I bring all my friends here - they have fallen in love with the coziest best cafe in Chicago.
Also summer can sit outside in a private courtyard.
