We went there last night and got really lucky and got a table for 2 inside! The service was great and very helpful, everyone was nice and was making sure guests were having a good experience! The food was fantastic and the portions were very generous. We also got a bottle of Chianti and it paired deliciosly with our pastas. The restaurant was warm and welcoming and I really can’t wait until we come back again!

The highlight of the visit is the food, the portions are very generous and the food is pretty good. Drinks were awesome I tried their and limoncello drink (forgot the name) besides that the service wasn’t first class, waiters weren’t 5 stars but they might be having a bad day.
Wouldn’t say it’s a place I would frequent, but definitely enjoyed the food but not as highly rated as it wants to be

Legit one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Especially for Italian food. Pasta Napoletana hit the spot. Plus a dry Martini (gin). You always know when a place is good when they bring her bread out warm! Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was great during a busy weekend dinner. We liked all the food and felt it was a fair value. The alfredo hit the spot, but could use a little more salt. Cocktail was a bit too strong (pomegranate martini). Overall, a place we would return to!

Went here for dinner with my husband. I got the Italian kiss cocktail and he had a glass of cab sauv. My cocktail was very boozy. The calamari was fried perfectly and not greasy. I had the chicken Parmesan and thought it was very good. My husband had fettuccini Alfredo and we thought the sauce wasn’t very robust tasting. We wanted more flavor. I love the hole in the wall ambiance of this restaurant and the menu is full of delicious sounding dishes. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

I have been going here off and on for years. The owner, Giovani, is very hands on and friendly and the staff reflects the same vibe! Very excellent food , service, and friendly atmosphere. Today was my wife’s birthday and we went for lunch. Haven’t been there in years. I was greeted by two familiar faces which were the same two very professional waiters that are always there. Consistently great!!!

I try go here every time I am in Chicago. The staff are so lovely and accommodating, the atmosphere is traditional and cosy and the food is so so good. We always get the grilled calamari to start as they are the best ever. And the eggplant parmigiana is perfect every time. Great wines, and a great location on bustling Division tops it off.

As part-time residents of the neighborhood, we dine here every time we are in town (about 2-3 times a month). Food and service is always excellent. Atmosphere is cozy, a nice neighborhood feel. Would highly recommend

Via Carducci is one of my favorite restaurants in the Midwest. I love their pasta and other vegetarian dishes. I enjoy their decent wine selection, specifically their Zinfandel🍷
I always request the same waiter. I don't know WHY I call him Andrew...and have been calling him "Andrew" for YEARS...but that is not his name. He's fantastic and offers lovely, elegant, professional service and is quite knowledgeable about the dishes and the wine.
I will be bringing more out-of-town guests here as the holidays approach.

This was an absolutely delicious experience! Came here with my dad for lunch on a Friday. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The food was beyond delicious and very traditional. The portions were amazing for the price as well. I love that they gave us complimentary bread with olive oil and parmesan. That’s one of my favorite things and it’s something I look for when going to an Italian restaurant. We tried the bruschetta di ‘Nduja for an app and it was just so fresh and flavorful. My dad had the fettuccini bolognese and I had the spaghetti carbonara. Both were absolutely amazing. My dad’s dish had a nice heat to it, while mine was nice and creamy. We will absolutely be going again!

This place is pretty good - to be honest nothing was very memorable, but I enjoyed it all! Just a decent Italian place with what you’d expect in terms of food. The best dish was the meatballs, so I recommend that! I like the outdoor seating and the staff was friendly. Wish they had some *more* going on but overall not bad!

Delicious & great service!! Everything came out so quick. Drinks were great, bread, bruschetta & calamari were amazing. We each got pasta (fettucine bolognese, fettucine alfredo w/ chicken & gnocchi in four cheese sauce) and all of our dishes were not only incredible but such great portions. Definitely will be back!

The waiter was very polite and patient, explaining and guiding the food well. The food was delicious and fresh. The only drawback was the restaurant equipment such as tables and chairs and the floor were worn and the verse was not very attractive.

The team is very hospitable and flexible. We asked to be seated outside and they offered to open the tent sides for extra ventilation. Felt very safe throughout dinner.
The food was great! I especially enjoyed the Fettuccine Alfredo and Parmigiana di Melanzana. Definitely recommend.

This place is the best. Been a staple of my families Chicago dining experience for a decade. Birthdays, New Years, Valentines, etc. it’s a special place with wonderful food, great atmosphere and fantastic service. When I tell people what my favorite restaurant in Chicago is, it’s Via Carducci.

She and the staff helped us pull off a wedding and delicious meal without a hitch. I went to dinner with my boyfriend tonight and really enjoyed our time here gushing about the great service. It wasn’t until one of the waiters decided to not listen to our request to box our leftovers that our night went from enjoyable to an annoyance. Please teach your waiters to listen to the patrons request. This left a really bad taste in our mouth and would not even think about coming back.

Our group was enjoying a deliciously fabulous dinner when we were actually asked to vacate our table. Never in my life have I ever been asked to leave a restaurant. You need to manage your reservations better. We had one and expected better from the management. No reflection on the food or wait staff, just a disappointing end to our meal.
