We are never disappointed here. The staff is always attentive and professional. The food always exceeds our expectations.
(Although, my favorite dish- steak and eggs, portion size has gotten smaller and smaller through the years)
The drinks are NEVER bland. My family and I have been coming here since it was just a sandwich and coffee spot,[with 4 small tables and a counter at the window], before it was a full fledged sit down restaurant. I'm so happy to see its growth and evolution.
It's good to see good hard working ppl like Isam and his family prosper. Thank you for the many years of memories with great food, drinks,and service. We look forward to many more years of great experiences in all your locations.
Came with friends who recommended us this place...we loved our experience here. The place is very nice and food is amazing the salsa roja mmmmmmmmmm delicious. We are making plans to come again with my in laws

Cafe con Leche is the spot I take my friends when they visit. Delicious food, great drinks and a fun atmosphere. Mouth watering just thinking about it!

This place was great! Food was delicious, coffee was really good! The food was served quick. The atmosphere was great (came during the Christmas month), decorations were a nice touch. My favorite was the cortada was my favorite. Cafe con Leche to go was a great choice!

Such a great experience! Food wasn’t too salty and came out in a timely manner. Parking lot was super convenient and great atmosphere. Maduros were my favorite!
We ordered a veggie jibarito, mole and margaritas and all of it was so good. Even the rice and beans, the seasoning is on point. Servers were sweet, our food came fast, and the ambiance/ decor is pretty.
This was our second visit to Cafe con Leche. It's always been a great experience.
We sat outdoors. Since their tent has sides, it can be loud. Of course, that's fine unless you don't like noisy restaurants.
Their food is amazingly consistent.
Cafe Americano: oh my - the size of the cup is enormous. It was also very good.
Chilaquiles Verdes: Two of us ordered Chilaquiles - this was also an enormous meal. Delicious, slightly spicy, the salsa verde was amazing. But it was so large, I barely finished half the meal. The rest will be breakfast tomorrow .
Vegetable Sandwich: big and fantastic. I'm not a vegetarian, but my mother is. She also doesn't eat a lot at one sitting. We took one half of her meal home.
Ropa Viella: this was the only meal finished at our table. I didn't get to taste it but the review was as good as anything else above.
I can't end this without mentioning the service. Everyone we encountered was super nice and very accommodating. It was a pleasure to eat here.
Really great tasting food! The service was top notch where they help you immediately, and they brought out the food in a surprisingly good time (went there around lunch time). I got the café con leche which was huge and pretty strong for my taste (I prefer sweet coffees), and the breakfast chorizo burrito was just tasty.
I must say the food was absolutely delicious! The pitcher of the strawberry mojito is worth it. So tasty and packed with flavor the way I like it!
The service not so great but upon talking with the manager, Geraldo, he took care of all of my parties grievances. I will come back soon to see if improvements were made so I can adequately rate this place the full 5 star I know it eventually deserves.
The food was too good we didn’t even get a picture. On top of that it’s half off their sangrias on Sunday, who can go wrong with that?! That calamari amazing! The jibarito was great with the leachon.
Cauliflower tacos were a vibe with a kick. Would eat again with guac 🥰
The food is incredible. That doesn’t even need to be expanded on.
But the real star is the service. The gentlemen who was my server today is just amazing. I’ve had him multiple times that I’ve come here. True professional. The food comes out extremely fast and really is unique to most other restaurants serving Mexican breakfast.
If you live in Chicago, this is a must try place. One of my favorites in the city!
I think I found my new spot! I had the Grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken took me back to my childhood with the flavor. It tasted like the pinchos i used to eat when i was in P.R. Very well seasoned and cooked. The waiter was polite and friendly. It wasn't long b4 we got our order and they had some good music plying in the background. You can sit inside or in the patio in back. Overall it was a great dining experience.
We had the ceviche as a starter it was flavorful and i had the cuban sandwich for lunch.

Absolutely delicious! The chilaquiles is to die for. I also got an iced latte that is the best I've had in a while. Highly recommend.
The restaurant is in a hip part of the city. Upon Entering the restaurant, you’re quickly greeted and seated.
Our host was prompt and responsive to get us the menu, water, as well as ask for any drinks. The menu is varied with lots of food options. Interestingly, the breakfast menu, is Latin inspired which is amazing!
After placing the order, the food arrived shortly and was hot, fresh, and delicious. Our host was always responsive to any requests and offered to get us various sauces.
My only drawback is the food doesn’t seem to have vegan options.
I would highly recommend this place and come here again.
I've eaten at Cafe Con Leche a few times over the years when visiting Chicago with my partner. He loves Mexican breakfasts. We have been back again and enjoyed our breakfast. We ordered the vegetarian options. Great portions, very filling, friendly service.

AMAZING FOOD! Reached out with a last minute request for catering and the entire team came through! Not only was everything on time, fresh, and organized in a fashion ready to serve, but the food was absolutely incredible! Spoke with Veronica throughout the process and she was such a pleasure to work with! HIGHLY recommend!
Went for a birthday dinner. Didn't know there is parking in back, but glad to know now as well definitely be back. All the dishes we had were excellent especially the pastor. Drinks are delicious and server was attentive. They surprised us with a birthday dessert for my daughter. We really enjoy it.
