Ay Ay Picante - Chicago - Photo album

This was my second visit to Ay Ay Picante. I love the bread rolls and the chimichurri sauce they serve as soon as you arrive. The arroz con mariscos was very good. It is a paella-style dish with seafood and vegetables mixed with saffron rice. The mixed ceviche was also good, although not my favorite
Very interesting, from the papa rellena to the pan fried salmon that I ordered for myself my taste buds were surprised with every bite. The papa rellena was delicious, paired with the onion salad it was a mouth watering combo. They had given us a little bowl of some green salsa that had a nice amou
First time visit, clean establishment ,candle lit dim ambiance, Fernando the server was absolutely great very attentive and provided fast service. Our dinner included Aji de Gallina & a Filet Mignon on the grill with veggies and mashed potatoes, the flavor was excellent. No parking lot available for
Great place to eat alone, with family, or with a date. I have been to other Peruvian restaurants here in Chicago and even in Peru and this place beats them all. I we had the Anticuchos, beef empanadas, and filet mignon del Callao. -the Anticuchos were tender and delicious. - the empanadas were v
Really loved the food and atmosphere. Went with someone who was raised in Peru, and they said the food was really authentic and some of the best she'd had. When you go, order Chicha to drink. It's non-alcoholic and REALLY good.
Had the filet mignon and the salmon, both were cooked very well and id get them again.
We had such a great time there! The food was delicious, the pisco sours were just right and the waiter was great. We would love to go back.
The best Ceviche I have tried in Chicago! I recommend it 100%
Super good. The food was tasty and you must try the green pepper sauce.
This place is amazing. Warm atmosphere, you can see chefs cooking, Food is always so fresh and I could eat Fisherman's stew every day lol. Everything I've tried was great, portions are huge. Amazing freshly baked rolls. BYOB I love it I keep coming back.
The food was excellent & obviously made at the hand of a talented chef. The ambiance is comfortable/cozy. Nice to see multi-generational families having Saturday dinner. We were lucky to get a table so I will call ahead to reserve next time. Hope to go back soon.
Everything on my plate was fantastic. The rice, even though it was just plain rice, was filled with flavor. So many restaurants that offer rice as a side and it's just bland. The fish was fantastic, cooked to perfection, and also very flavorful. Very nice wait staff, extremely helpful and friend
Great food. Friendly service. It was my first time eating here and if I can be completely honest I will say that I did feel kind of ignored despite it not being busy. I would have appreciated a bit more attention especially because the prices aren't the lowest. Other than that my experience was pret
I love coming here and usually do when my brother comes into town with his family. The ambiance here is great as well as the food. The steak is always prepared with amazing flavor and it also helps that the place is BYOB. The only complaint I have is that it can be a bit cramped in here at night and
Bien rico, the owner came to introduce himself and inform us of his other locations very polite waiters
Great restaurant, staff is very friendly, food is amazing, authentic Peruvian Style. BYOB
My doctor who is from Peru recommended this establishment to me. A rush hour drive from Indiana didn't take away from the great experience we had there. The shrimp ceviche was the best. Service and entrees were spectacular.
