Great beer selection and classic neighborhood pub grub vibes in here. It’s not a destination but if you’re around kinda place, it’s also giving London pub/ eatery. Patio is still pretty popular and people wait in line for it, we sat at the bistro tables. They have a rotating draft menu. We had the b
Love coming to this place last time I was here was a couple of years ago. Food is always great and so is the service. Had the fish and chips, super large portion but super delicious. 10/10
They saved me by quickly bringing a Pepsi & cherry juice for my low sugar complication. Meatloaf is tasty without the sauce. The ribs are really good.
We hosted an event here (our wedding) in August. The spaces they have available are roomy and aesthetically pleasing, which was not the norm for the other places we looked at. We chose the indoor space, which was perfect for the ~40 people in attendance. The food was amazing and was served seemingly
We enjoy coming to the Fireside during winter. It has a decent menu. Food is good. The heated patio in back is spacious. The dining room has a fireplace which is cozy. You can have drinks in the bar area and then transition to dinner which makes it very versatile.
Oh, Fireside. This would have been a 5 star review if I had only kept my visit to brunch. My brunch experience here was amazing - I had the breakfast sandwich and a life-changing banana cake (better than carrot cake). The service is great and the patio is roomy while also being cozy. Dinner was a
Fireside is a casual, cozy neighborhood gem off the beaten path with both a good dark-more-intimate-sports-bar vibe as well as a lovely bright (closed) patio that feels so open and warm, and boasts a kitchen that is open until late (great for late nights!) - with fantastic pizzas and other pasta / I
Haven't been here in years, and when I walked in I was pleasantly greeted with the Halloween decorations they had up. I sat near the bar to watch the ball game and ordered a big lunch. The server was polite and attentive considering there was a lunch rush. The food was good. I will be returning to t
We stayed for a week in Edgewater area of Chicago and this place somehow became our mandatory go to place for a late night food and a drink. Food is EXCEPTIONAL - among the best pub food I've ever had. I love that they have a full menu for late dining as well. Price wise as well - very acceptable. G
Cajun meatloaf??! Yes, please. It also had this amazing homemade marinara sauce on it. The garlic green beans were excellent. The burger was great…even the rice had a good flavor. There is a decent selection of beer on tap and cocktail options. Service was good even though they seemed busy. We did n
Local hidden find, not on the main though fair. But definitely worth seeking out. They do have parking. In door and outside seating.
The food was really good. The shrimps were a little on the spicy side, which I enjoy very much. Service was great. I can recommend this place for a nice relaxed dinner. The price was accurate for Chicago area
Enjoyed dinner last evening on the patio while visiting family that live nearby. I have to say the JACK’ED UP Burger is the best hamburger I've ever had! Mozzarella, onion straws, BBQ sauce and pickles. So delicious! The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. I look forward to visiting again th
I met a friend here tonight for dinner. We had a couple drinks and dinner and everything was great. The service was very prompt and friendly. The ribs were excellent and a very good size slab. The make your own mac and cheese was also excellent. Very large selection of beers wines and cocktails. Def
Overall nice atmosphere, staff was great, attentive maybe sometimes not too knowledgeable of liquor selection or menu items. My fish did not gave any other seasoning but salt an pepper, even though menu listed orange flavor with dill. Plain flavors overall. Other than that good enough.
This place is a Hidden Gem! Wonderful, independently owned restaurant right inside a wonderful Ravenswood Avenue neighborhood. All of our food was cooked to order and was delivered to our table piping hot. I give this restaurant five stars!
This place is incredible. I came here with two groups of friends for some very late night food and a few drinks. I was shocked by how incredible the food is.. (burgers, pastas, sandwiches, ribs, apps, all amazing) - then the staff is super friendly and the drinks are good. Can’t wait to keep coming
