This place is the best spot in Chicago for great German sausages and pub fare. Everything I’ve had there is fantastic. The pretzels are out of this world good. The beer list has all the German faves; the Haus Helles is brewed right here in Chicago by the fine folks at Metropolitan Brewing. You can even play a game of hammerschlagen while you wait for your food or just hang out and enjoy the festive beer hall atmosphere. Adam has a magnificent staff. Their service is second to none. I can’t wait to get back and put more sausage in my mouth!

This was my first visit to Radler and had a great time , music was great and not to loud , food was fabulous!i I ordered the goast pepper sausage, a pretzel with mustard and finally finished with the pork schnitzel entree. Hammer in a few nails to a stump to blow of steam . Adam the owner visited with me and it felt like I was special and welcome . I will return . This was authentic home cooking , a world apart from the “other commercial type “ German joints I have been to . The wait staff was so helpful and knowledgeable about beer and the menu ❤️

Last Saturday I threw my husband a surprise birthday party at the Radler. From start to finish, the staff and venue exceeded expectations. Sean and Adam were prompt and helpful in all communications, and they helped me through all the stress of planning a party for 60+ people. I was able to rent out the back room and patio for a very reasonable drink minimum and they were happy to provide space in the refrigerator for the cake and donuts. On the day of, Adam even rearranged furniture and light fixtures to my liking. Jeff our server was quick, kind, and incredibly helpful when I started to butcher the cake. Long story short Adam, Jeff, Sean and all the other lovely staff at the Radler helped to make my husband’s party a huge success. Thank you all and I highly recommend the Radler for your next private party!!

Way better place to chill and have great beer than the "place down the street" which will remain nameless.

Food is so-o-o good. Can't beat the schnitzel. If you are just snacking, don't miss the pretzels. (Pretzels? I know, but they are truly special.) and every thing is great- beer choices wonderful. Atmosphere is fun and friendly. Come by yourself or bring a crowd. You'll be happy either way.

Went for the Father's Day pig roast. The food was AMAZING. The beer selection was excellent, and every single staff member we interacted with was friendly and attentive. I'm new to Chicago, but this place will definitely be a favorite!

The food here is very good, but what really sets the Radler apart is the cool but warm environment and awesome people that fill the place up. It's always been a great scene, and I expect it will become one of the region's mainstays for drinks accompanied by some great food.

This. Place. Is. My. Heaven. I loved everything from the food to the beer selection, to the atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and stop in, get a brew, and get some sausage (we had the platter). If you're really thirsty, they offer a 2 liter boot, which I both finished and purchased to take home, and regret nothing. With either a group or couple or even solo, you'll definitely enjoy yourself. Thanks again Radler staff!

We like The Radler. It's a fun pub. Very spacious, German themed, and reasonable prices. I like their pretzels and beer cheese dip. I also like the bratwurst. Tasty food! They also do special Pilsner night.

The Radler is a wonderful German beer hall. The beer list is fantastic and the food is delicious, even if you're not partial to traditional German cooking. I suggest passing on the "Radler" namesake beer style, and exploring the drafts they have from other German breweries.

I actually went here during the day time and they had free coffee and wifi. It was a perfect place for me to study. The staff was friendly and let me studied while I enjoyed my beer. Wasn't too noisy when I was there (around 2-5)

Nice little place to check out for a Saturday night drinks. The bartenders were nice and suggested some beers that they had on tap. They have some games that are good for groups... so looking forward to going back with some friends.

One of my favorite places to eat and drink. The burger is so addictive, you will instantly want another. The house made sausages and pretzels are delicious, and the beers are plentiful and generous. Check out their daily specials before you go, you might end up there on $4 40oz night or $10 burger & a beer night! A truly wonderful place with a great beer hall feel.

Awesome place for some great German beers and cocktails! Very open floor plan so I didn't feel crammed into the space like some other bars in the area. While there, we played hammerschlagen (involves nails, a hammer and drinking... what could go wrong? :) ) and got offered samples! Will definitely be back.

I was able to see why my friends really wanted to take us to Sunday brunch here. It was really good! Buffet style with some decent breakfast options, and decent roasts. Good breads and mustards characteristic of German food that were really good. If your looking for a good Sunday brunch, I recommend going here

Me and my friends were looking out for a authentic German hangout place and we're glad that we selected this place. This is the place for brat and beer lovers. I am a sucker for brats. If it's on a menu then I will try all. You will also find good crowd here. Open bar and you need find your own place. It's a first come first serve kind of places. So get in early have a friend order beer and another to find a place for all to sit. Divide and conquer is the way to attack here. I will definitely be revisit multiple times. Had a blast here.
