Rootstock Wine & Beer Bar - Chicago - Photo album

Very cozy. Very delicious food. Great services. I wish more up to date beer menu on the website. It's too dark to read the menu. Pretty good shrimp cocktail sauce. Unique skate cheeks dish, so good. Picanha, here is something else, just the perfect balance of flavors. Great portion. Great for sharin
Amazing food and vibes at Rootstock! Everything was great but especially loved the Burrata salad appetizer.
Great service. Small but boisterous atmosphere. We enjoyed $500 worth of food and left nothing behind. Everything was exceptional. Take note though that the shrimps are MASSIVE.
This place is a must try. A gem hidden right in front of your eyes. The food was excellent and the wine pairing was on point. The interior atmosphere was a bit rugged, but charming in the evening. You're going to love the food.
Rootstock always hits! We came on a Saturday night and the 2 of us were seated at the bar within 30 mins. We had wine while we were waiting and split all these amazing dishes when we got seated. The bartender and host were extremely hospitable and welcoming. We had great conversation and finished ou

Smitten the first time I came here a few years back. Now my children are too. Not cheap but everything is well curated, from the charcuterie/cheese trays, burger, salads. This is firstly a wine bar. I had one of the best cab franc here and many others from a serious wine list. Small, simple, charmin
Love this place! Tried for the first time randomly only because it was open late and I had to come back again because their pasta was soooo good, and wine choices were excellent and unique! Their menu changes constantly so when I came back they didnt have the pasta I was craving but they had a simil
Excellent little spot. Highly recommend. The owners are there most days and the service and food are world class. Small menu. Great wine list.
I have a weakness for charcuterie and I am not ashamed about it in the least. It was my first time visiting Rootstock. We sat outside on the patio and had two glasses of wine and shared the charcuterie board. For the charcuterie, there is an option to pick 6 items from the cheese and meat selection
