Jin Ju - Chicago - Photo album

I like the vibe in here. It was welcoming and fun, yet not too tightened up like a bar feeling where you can lay back a little and enjoy the evening. As I don’t drink, I ordered just my favorite Korean dish that always make me happy, bibimbub with raw squid that served in a hot bowl and a scallion p
Every time I come here, I feel restored and satiated! My father grew up in Korea and introduced me to Korean food as a child, so coming here is always a treat. The staff is always kind and helpful and the food is delightful and delicious. Our Bim Bi Bop was served after a Miso soup and small bite
An awesome place to come with friends! The atmosphere is lively while still being cozy. Food was great with plenty of vegetarian/vegan (I think) options!
The coolest Korean joint in Chicago's Andersonville 'hood. It was hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. First off, the food at Jinju is out of this world. I tried their Chu Gu Mi Dol Sut Bi Bim Bap, and holy moly, it was amazing!! The combo of baby octopus, scallops, ric
I had an amazing time at Jin Ju. The cucumber soju cocktail was so refreshing. We split steamed Mandoo, beef bulgogi, and kalbi short ribs. Everydish was wonderful, and the sides were the perfect pairing. I only wish there had been a little more of the sides, just because they were soooo goood!
The food we got from here was out of this world. I was already a huge fan of Korean food, but this may be the best Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had. the other dishes I had were also very good, including the bibimbap and the Kim bap. i also really enjoyed the sides
I have enjoyed Jin Ju for years now, and I recently got to host a large dinner party for my birthday in their private dining space. The experience from planning the menu (including navigating dietary restrictions with a larger group) to arriving and enjoying our meal was so fantastic, and everyone e
Ordered the dumpling and wing appetizers which were really flavorful. The Soju flight is a nice intro to that type of alcohol. The glass noodle dish was outstanding. Literally shocked me when I tasted it. Our host was very attentive and smiley. Would definitely recommend
After having an underwhelming experience at Passerotto, Jinju was an awesome beyond expectations experience. Food was awesome and service awesome as well. Soju cocktails were delicious and I loved how they asked if I wanted it sweeter or more dry (since I like my drinks more sweet). It hit more clos
Not knowing what to expect Jin Ju surely didn't disappoint. Service was professional, friendly and quick. The Sojutini was fresh and a nice touch to this contemporary Korean restaurant. Bibimbap remained hot the entire meal. The seafood was cooked perfect and was full of flavor. Recommend the bibimb
Great food- came here with a tight timeline before a show nearby. Sam was amazing. We let him know of the time crunch and he accommodated very well. The food was amazing… we got the bulgogi and chicken wings. Both exceeded expectations. Highly recommended
Great Korean food and some pretty funky cocktails.
Stumbled upon this place while walking around Andersonville, and I already can’t wait to come back. Jin Ju has a great ambience, and even greater food. My fiancé and I ordered two Terra beers and shared the Sam Gyup Sal and steamed Mandoo— everything tasted incredible. Special note: our server, Eli
Slightly upscale Asian restaurant, but still casual! There is also a nice bar inside. The staff was extremely helpful & attentative, and we were happy with our food selection. I do think the prices are a tad expensive, but I would absolutely come back here.
Bulgogi was dry but good flavor. Chicken wings were decent. A tad too saucey and too much breading though. The bonchon was good. Overall, not super impressed with the food but service and ambience were great, and it’s not too expensive. I would come back to try other things on the menu, hopefully th
Kimchi mando (fried) were amazing. Scallion pancake was ok (but greasy) and the pork belly appetizer was ok too (more Brussels sprouts then belly and not very flavorful). The spicy chicken bulgogi and the chap chae (veggie) were standouts though, service was quick and attentive. We left well fed and
