We made a quick stop at this spot for breakfast on our way to Diversey Harbor. Friendly service. It seemed like the people working were all friends & got along well, which is nice! Tasty breakfast food- you can tell that the guys in the back kitchen were working very hard. It seems like they have a
The food is a little hit or miss. Croque madame is great, the potatoes are wonderful, the crepes were underseasoned, and the grits were watery. great staff, very cute restaurant
We stopped here for breakfast and were blown away. Food was great, but the real star was our server August. One of the best servers we've ever had! He was attentive, had a great personality, and he also gave us great tips about finding our way around town. Fantastic!
The food is always solid here. No frills, but delicious. The only issue I have is with the coffee. It’s a bit bitter and I always forget this until I’ve settled at the table. The waitress says some people like it and some hate it. Why not have two coffee options then? Otherwise, service is good and
Stopped in for breakfast while visiting the old neighborhood. Service was quick and attentive. Breakfast was decent. My husband ordered French toast and a large milk, I ordered Oatmeal with toppings added and a coffee. There is not much you can do to mess up breakfast so I typically rate my experien
Ate here twice in a row because we loved it so much! The breakfast mac and cheese was gooey and delicious, the French toast was also sweet and delicious. The second day I had the eggs bennie capreese which was also super yummy.
Wonderful food and wonderful service! While visiting Chicago, my friends and I ate here two mornings in a row. Both meals were phenomenal! What you need to know: the side of pancakes is HUGE! Like, enough for a meal. So if you're with someone else, and only want a little pancake, share with your f
I had this place all wrong! We used to order from Doordash and we thought it wasn't very good, but it's a much nicer experience in person. My son and I had the strawberry-orange juice, the salted caramel latte, and the all star special. I was a little disappointed it didn't come with hashbrowns, but
Update Sep-2021: My wife and I have become regulars at Yolk Lakeview. The service and food quality hold up every time. I would rate them 6 stars without a doubt! Original review, May-2021: My wife and I are new to the Lakeview area. We walked into this Yolk location for the first time and enjoyed a
The whole place was packed for brunch, but we got in very quickly without a reservation. Food was delicious. Waitress was busy, so she wasn't super attentive but very friendly and helpful when we asked her for things. Strawberry orange juice was delicious!
Checked this place out last week of Jan. 2020, and I tell you I was very pleased with what was offered. There was definitely too many choices so I ended up ordering a a Breakfast Burrito and my wife had a 3-Egg Scrambler I believe. The coffee was very good and the waiter was a young guy and he was
Was hoping for a 5 star review from what we heard from others. Food was good, service was good, coffee was good. No complaints, just not at 5 stars. You will enjoy it.
Amazing chicken and waffles! The cinnamon roll French toast was so delicious and they had some of the best cheese grits I've ever eaten. Service was good, not too crowded, and a good spot for brunch and conversation with friends. Have always come back for the croque madame! It's super sweet, packed
Food is good and servers are nice and friendly. The downside is that it takes a while for food to be ready, but it’s worth it!
The ENTIRE team at this location works incredibly hard. Every time I go in there you can’t tell the difference between the MANAGER and the staff because they work as a team. Today I learned the managers name, and biggest props to Sierra, the wait staff, and the cooks. The execution here is somethin
