What a fabulous spot tucked into busy spot on Hubbard. I felt like I stepped back in time (except with really great food) :) I ended up hanging out for about 5 hours in the back Library which was such a treat! The Front Area of the restaurant/bar are bustling, fun, loud and busy. It was fun to sit in the back out of the fray and watch all the early evening activities - all from the comfort of a nice nook with leather couches, comfy chairs and an electric but authentic looking fireplace!
The staff and management are fantastic - Jason & the crew took great care of us. I had a small gathering of local friends, many of whom had not been there and now I know they will be back!
Food: The flatbread pizzas are top notch. I had the mushroom/asparagus flatbread - super crispy, great taste & the asparagus was perfectly cooked (with a little crunch!) We also had the chorizo flatbread which was noms noms. Definitely try out the lobster deviled eggs (because.... lobster + deviled eggs!) I also had the bacon wrapped dates which had a nice drizzle of red pepper sauce which was a different flavor pairing but I liked it.
Overall, Hubbard Inn is an incredibly impressive place - 3 floors of all different spots - really old world settings interspersed with fun decor and kickass artwork. If you are thinking about a private event downtown, you need to consider this place - so many options.
I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Chicago!
I can't said enough about this place they do everything right from hospitality to the food. I highly recommend the goat cheese ravioli and crab. The cocktail are delicious and refreshing .
2 words.. best food ! This place really knows how to put a show ! The food here is absolutely out of this world! It's very well presented and served well, with many different kinds of ingredients to go along with your entrée! I recommend their food and drinks to anyone!
I came here for a dinner this past Saturday, and had the bison patty melt, which was phenomenal. The service was great, and everything was on point and met my standards. I've also been here numerous times to go out, and have always had a blast. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner or fun night out.
Every new food item on the menu is amazing. From the appetizers to full plates, Hubbard inn does a great job of presenting their food to their customer service. My favorites would have to be the spicy cod sandwiches and fondue dessert. I would strongly recommend stopping by for one of their signature drinks and an appetizer!
It was great! The service was wonderful! It was a birthday celebration could not have been better! Thanks to everyone who served us. I highly recommend Hubbard Inn. The food was excellent!
The food here is incredible! I recommend the tuna tartar, lamb meatballs, and the foie pb&j!

Amazing food, great atmosphere, the best Moscow Mule in town and friendly staff! What more could you ask for? Oh and by the way, the stuffed dates wrapped in bacon are to die for!
Shannon and Savannah provided the best service for brunch. This was our first time eating at Hubbard Inn and their recommendations of what food they thought we would like was perfect. I had the brunch burger-delicious. Thank you Hubbard Inn for a great day!
A restaurant and bar that is a hidden gem from local and tourist alike! Great atmosphere! Outstanding food and drinks. My wife and I go for brunch on the weekends, totally worth it! Top notch spicy bloody marry!

By far the best raw seafood happy hour bar in Chicago. Great customer service also.
Beautiful spot...worked a fundraiser there for State Representative Nick Smith. Awesome party room on the second floor.
The staff are friendly, the cocktails were great, and the food amazing! I highly recommend he pork belly tacos.
Excellent food, great ambiance...perfect place to grab a drink and a bite of food!!
Food here is always fresh and service is so quick. After dinner I would recommend going Upstairs to key club for great drinks and a cool atmosphere.
My wife and I stopped in for an afternoon cocktail during their Christmas season and had a great time. The decorations were over-the-top in a fun, festive way and the drinks were delicious!
I went there for drinks and live music after work with one of my coworkers and my best friend who also works nearby. We had such a good time! The drinks were strong and delicious. We had martinis and mixed drinks. The guy at the door (wish we had caught his name) was super friendly and helpful to us when we arrived. The band was good and had some nice audience participation included. Overall, a very enjoyable night and we plan to come back soon and do it all over again.

My favorite spot in river north. We had shrimp and beef sliders for appetizers, salmon and grilled chicken served with sweet potatoes for main coarse. Many del cocktails I had smell the roses 🥰
We were in Chicago for my friends bday and looking for a happy hour. We stumbled into Hubbard Inn where we had strong drinks and delicious oysters.
The decor was sooo cute, felt like a garden.
The vibe/ambiance is very chic.
The service was great! We even got to chat with the manager Adam that give us all the nightlife insights to downtown Chicago.
We will be back! And hopefully for brunch!
Went for the Christmas pop up and really enjoyed the drinks! We ordered some small bites also - try the bacon wrapped dates!
A good vibe with great music but the bartenders definitely always always are biased and have favorites. Sometimes it’s really hard to get a drink.
Otherwise the crowds keep to themselves and you can enjoy a great girls night out when you finally get that drink 😂
First time here. My date took me here for my birthday. Drinks and food were good on my end.
My date however, food was salty. Both the appetizer and entrée. He did not eat it ,as it was not appetizing. The manager was nice enough to take it off the bill. Overall the wait staff, & manager had excellent customer service and the ambiance was great. I would give it a 5 star for customer service and ambiance. I only gave it 3 1/2 because my date didn't have a good experience with the food. Other than that I would recommend this place as a good wind down the workday or week place
I had my engagement party here and it was the best night of my life. The event planner Kayla is absolutely incredible and she seriously made my party the perfect night. She went above and beyond for me. The servers and bartenders were incredible too. The food was amazing- all my guests raved about it. The atmosphere is so lively and fun. Great sound system. Everyone had a blast. I cannot recommend this place enough. I will absolutely be holding another event here, and I can’t wait! Thank you Hubbard inn crew!!! And special thank you to Kayla!
Such amazing food and ambience. First time in Chicago and found this amazing location for happy hour for oysters. $1 each for east coast oysters from 4 - 7pm Wednesday through Friday. Ask for Sandra, she was our amazing host and say hi to Gordon who operates and manages the amazing establishment, who took care of my family. Everything was delicious, I highly recommend the grilled oysters with garlic and lemon butter and of course the raw oysters. Definitely will be back when I'm in town!
