Friendly staff and good service. The thin crust pizzas are good. The crust/dough has a lot of flavor built into it in addition to the toppings. The drink menu is unique with a lot of specialty drinks you can only find here. Calamari was bursting with flavors and is delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and dimly lit. We were seated in a comfy couch overlooking the restaurant which was very nice.

A Chicago favorite of mine. Great pizza, salads, and drinks. I’ve always had excellent service here, and the ambience is warm and vibrant. I love that you can see the chefs making the pizza. Highly recommend!

Atmosphere was good for big group dining. Buffet style dining. The service was good. The food was okay, not too much selections though. We've had better.

Great atmosphere with amazing pizza! Part of the LettuceEats rewards program, this pizza spot is one of the best in Chicago! We came here with our family on a Saturday night and had a good experience. We started off with a round of drinks and ordered the prosciutto & burrata antipasti as a starter for the table. This place is also known for letting kids make their own pizzas and since we had two small kids with us (5 & 3), they were able to go up to the kitchen’s counter and make their own pizza! It’s highly suggested that you mention kids wanting to make their own pizzas when you book a reservation, when you arrive and check in for your reservation, and then also again to your server when sitting down at your table. It’s popular so many others are doing this for their kids as well. For dinner, we ended up ordering a few things and then sharing as a table. We ordered the spicy roasted cauliflower, spicy salumi & burrata pizza with normal crust, and then the tavern-style double cheese pizza (which is a very thin crust, almost like a crispy flake crust). There were 4 adults sharing these three things and it was the perfect amount of food. Each pizza produced about 8 slices. The only reason for 4 stars is the service, our waiter was horrible! He was very slow and never checked on us...we were out of water and never asked if we wanted a second round of drinks. Actually, he never even checked on us again after we received our food...it wasn’t until he came back to ask if we were ready for our check that we saw him again. Other than that our experience was positive!

Came to this place with some friends after being highly recommended by other friends... The place was cool, felt cozy, nice atmosfere and it wasn't very busy so we got seated right away. The servers are nice and friendly and we had 🍕 pizza and 🥗 salad. Both good and the pizza was crisp as ordered and tasty. We had 🍄 mushroom and margarita pizzas, both good

Stella Barra is dimly lit, chic, and quite cozy. The staff are very professional and friendly and the pizza was good- a bit pricy for what it is, but still a cool spot. I’d recommend getting the meatball appetizer and ordering a half and half pizza to get some variety.

I came to Stella Barra per a recommendation for some Gluten Free pizza on my trip to California. The mid day service was a little slow but I figured since it was St Patrick's Day, the lunch rush was busy. The gluten free crust was good however the pizza had a little too much sauce and not enough cheese for my liking. I was able to add avocado to it for a little something extra.

Pizza was good, the warmed cookies compliments of our server, Matt, was even better. Matt & the manager made our 1st experience in Chicago so enjoyable and welcoming. Kudos to the team!

The food is quite amazing and the service is excellent the best part is that it's family friendly. My one year old polished off the pancakes and made a huge mess but they didn't care. My four year old a wild monkey no-one cared! Totally recommend for those parents who need a break from crazy parenting.

We got the Crispy Brussel Sprouts as an appetizer and they were really good. They we're more than just your typical olive oil, salt, and pepper, which is pretty darn good as it is. They had a slight taste of vinegar which tasted really good. The Butternut Squash Pizza was good, although I wish it had more squash. The sweet taste of the candied bacon was a nice compliment to the savory taste of the rest of the pizza. The Spicy Salumi and Burrata Pizza was also good. The red sauce had a good taste and the Salumi paired well with it.

Thinnest pizza in Chicago, and possibly the world. As thin or thinner than Timpone's in Champaign, Illinois. Stunningly thin, crispy crust. Also, they have three varieties of crust to choose from, each with various differences in the edge crust or thickness. Heaven on earth. The only detractor is the clientele- hordes of plasticine Lincoln Park trust fund babies who wouldn't know culinary adventure if it walked up to them, unzipped their pants and asked if they needed a ride. One couple next to me was planning their trip to Paris-- it sounded like a death sentence without serendipity, adventure or wine.

Been here a many of times now as the food is always consistently good. Definitely a favorite for sit down pizza and happy hour specials. First off, check in via Yelp and claim a free appetizer. In the past they've offered burrata cheese with toasted bread, and more recently they've moved to a free order of meatballs which are tasty. Second, it is a pizzeria so make sure you order a pizza while here. We've tried quite a few of them over our frequent visits, and my favorite would probably be the prosciutto & egg pizza. Pretty darn good. Thirdly, happy hour here is pretty awesome. Takes place weekdays from 4pm to 6pm and feature select bites, $3 draft beers, and select $4 wines. Great deal all around. Service has always been on point here. I would definitely recommend putting a reservation ahead of time as it does always seem to be busy. 'Til next time!

I had my birthday brunch here and it was my first time I dined here. All of my 15 guests including me thought the service, food and the mimosas were savory as well as delicious! The vanilla French toast was addictive! They served short rib hash, scrambled eggs but it was the alternative pork options that stole the show because I don't eat pork. I recommend everyone dine for brunch! The pizza is superb with peaches, Spinach and cheese!

Awesome pizzeria in Lincoln Park! They serve very thin-crusted pizza that are incredibly tasty. We had 3 different flavors and they were also amazing: shout out to the butternut squash though! The Brussels sprouts were also delicious and a very good choice for starters. The place is also really cool and perfect for a group get together.

Hands down the BEST gluten free pizza I've ever had. The menu is creative and delicious! Wait staff is consistently friendly and knowledgeable. I always try to snag a reservation on Open Table when I know I'll be visiting this neighborhood of Chicago. Ask to be seated in the back patio area! It's quieter than the main dining area.

Yum yum yum yum. Perhaps I went here twice in one week.. I've always gotten the white truffle pizza with onions and rosemary and is THE BEST thing ever. Recently I've dabbled into one of their red sauce pizzas and was also pleasantly surprised. Although I shouldn't say surprised, because this is a lettuce entertain restaurant; they always please. Their gluten free crust is unreal, I am very happy with the substitution I don't have an option to not take. Recently experienced their happy hour which is definitely worth checking out. Love the contrast between the darkness of Stella vs the bright/light-ness of Summer House. The middle part with the dessert-- don't forget to stop their on your way out :)
