Everything you’d hope to have at a neighborhood diner. Old school vibes, personable service and killer food combine to make S&G’s so great. Menu is massive and can be intimidating, but I always go for the skillets. The Athenian (pictured) could be my new favorite, but you can’t go wrong with any of them. Usually busy for weekend brunch so you could expect to wait a little. Definitely family friendly. They do have some alcoholic drink options even though they aren’t on the menu.

Servers are so incredibly warm and welcoming, such a comfortable and lovely atmosphere. It felt like visiting old friends. At one point, someone even reminded everyone to pay up their meters if they parked outside. That’s not something you see at a lot of restaurants. Food came out super fast and was delicious and filling. This place is amazing. 100% will be coming back.

We came with a large group of 8 and they got us seated right away. Our servers were amazing! So many options. We all ordered so many things and everything was delicious not one bad meal, all cooked quickly and well. Great jelly options. The coffee was good. Servers on top of checking with us but also had that delicate touch of not too much. I wish this place was close to home I'd come here all the time. Will for sure come back if I'm ever back in Chicago. Parking was street parking, not too bad.

Great place. Surprisingly big on the inside. Delicious food and fresh coffee. Me and a friend both had skillets. They were large and tasty. Lots of seating, nearby parking abs friendly staff. They have a nice, big menu, I definitely want to come back and try more food. Their waffles look fantastic!

I wish I could give them more stars..the food was magnificent, fresh and was delivered HOT with a great presentation! By far one of my TOP 3 Best in the whole 60657 zip code. I had the breakfast skillet with the Italian sausage w/veggies and mozzarella cheese! First timer! Will order again and soon!

What a staff! We went in for breakfast. Our server, Maria, was beyond helpful. There’s a large menu and she gave us time and helped us figure out what to order based on dietary restrictions and likes. Incredible service, plus she was hilarious and very kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back, and highly recommend!

I set out to find a great spot to eat breakfast and take the minute that this tired mom needed to relax- S&G did not disappoint. I was welcomed, felt like family from the moment I walked in, the food was excellent with quick service and never an empty coffee cup! I cannot express enough how glad I am that I walked into this place today. Thanks S&G and Camilo for being the perfect server!

Easily one of my favorite go-to brunch places. There's usually not a wait, and it just feels so home-y. Same can be said about the food; the menu is massive, but so far I've liked everything that I've tried. I was even surprised to find myself liking their Chicken Alphabet soup because it was just a little random. Other breakfast items are come in pretty huge servings, but their eggs are bomb - they are cooked exactly how you like them.

Stuck My party right next to the kitchen kept hearing yelling and dishes rattling. Couldn't hear anybody it was not great they almost forgot my Bacon till I mentioned it.
