Sheffield's Beer & Wine Garden

Went here for a sandwich and some beers to catch up with an old friend. This is a nice expansive bar with a decently large outdoor beer garden. They had a nice long tap list of beers, it must have been 30 or more beers on tap, and a good variety at that (not just IPAs). Service was really slow but we didn't know there was a Cubs game that day. Still, there only appeared to be one server working the entire beer garden area of 50ish people. Management needs to make sure there is adequate staffing, other customers even asked me "what's the deal out here?" The BLT I had was nice with lots of bacon and everything was a reasonable price for downtown Chicago.

Very cozy and cute spot to have some beers and great barbecue. Our server, Daryl, was absolutely amazing. She was very kind and attentive. My wife and I got the fried pickles which can not be skipped in my opinion. They’re super crispy and flavorful with a firm but thin batter. We also got the combination platter with fries, brisket, pulled pork, coleslaw, and cornbread with a side of the Carolina BBQ sauce. The brisket held itself together by sheer force of will, looking at it tore it apart due to how tender it was and the bark was fantastic. The pulled pork was also lovely. The only miss on the plate was the coleslaw but thats how I always feel about coleslaw. Highly recommend this place for their great patio, fantastic barbecue, awesome beers, and Daryl!
