Great food and friendly service. Highly recommend the cinnamon rolls and the biscuits. They're very tasty.

If you’re looking for good food at a decent price, then this place would be a good choice. If you’re expecting crispy fried potatoes when you order the hash browns though, you’ll be in for a shock because these hash browns are more akin to potatoes from my own pot roast.
As far as cinnamon rolls go though, this place has the best ones I have ever eaten, hands down! Go in and get them as a prelude to your main breakfast order, eat everything in front of you and then get a half dozen to take home, because you’re going to be craving them a couple of hours later anyway!

Wonderful, delightful breakfast food. Cinnamon buns - are super delicious. We all had omlettes or eggs of some sorts. Very wonderful and generous portions. Quick efficient service. Very pleased. No wonder this is a Chicago landmark. Will be going back on our next visit.

I was recommended by a few people to go to Ann Sather's and it was so good I went to two different locations. I will only write a review for this one, but both were outstanding.
Food: Their draw is cinnamon buns and since I am borderline obsessed with them, I told myself I have to get them. It was DELICIOUS, no other way around it. Their eggs were done perfectly scrambles, the sausage links were okay, but their fruit bowl was amazing, I was both surprised and impressed.
Service: Service in both places were exceptional. Everyone works as a team from what I saw and there is never an issue.
Aesthetic: Very nice diner-style eating, good environment in a great neighborhood.

Great diner. The sunrise breakfast wrap is next level great and the 2 sides make it such a nice full meal. I love it. Staff is always accommodating in person and over the phone.
Context: the first time I came to ann sather I got something I didn't really like and I thought I didn't like the restaurant. I'm super glad I came back to try something else.

Our two top table was tiny. I imagine the plates are so expensive because of the huge sides! They give you two cinnamon rolls which are incredible. Unfortunately they use sugar packets and creamer cups, which is annoying. Coffee was strong and slightly bitter. My wife had the crab benedict and she thought it was great. My bacon was perfect. They had a food runner which made sure the breakfast was hot!

We loved the cinnamon rolls they are the best! We also had eggs benedict with salmon it was good. But the waiters are rude from the minute we entered the restaurant. I don't even know why

Ann Sather is a staple brunch spot in the Lakeview neighbourhood of Chicago. Come for the cinnamon rolls of which they give you two minimum with your order. They are covered in icing, served warm, and do not disappoint.

Don’t eat the cinnamon rolls!!!! They put a ingredient in them that makes you sleepy and gain weight. Other than that breakfast was delicious.
