This place is so great. I love their Neapolitan pizza. I’ve tried a variety of them and have enjoyed them all. I’ve done both dine in and carry out. The only thing I would say is that the restaurant can be a bit loud, and the music can be very loud. But otherwise I think it has a nice vibe and the staff are all generally very nice. It is small so there is definitely limited seating. They do have a patio for the summer months.
The first time we visited Gallucci we had the best experience. The Food was AMAZING! Everything we orders had us raving about the place. We came back for the second time to celebrate a birthday with high expectations and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. Staff was very attentive , service was great and food yet again was excellent just like we remembered. Our friends enjoyed it just as much as we did. Definitely 10/10 .
All I have to say is wow. Our server was awesome and attentive and the food was so good. The meatballs were incredible and the pizza was true Neapolitan style!! On the more expensive side for drinks and pizza in Chicago but I think it’s worth it! Can’t wait to come back.
One of the best Napoletena pizzas in Chicago. The championship winning Terra Mia is highly recommended. Amazing food and delightful experience overall.
I’m so impressed of the quality of the food in this place, it’s just so good and authentic, their pizza tastes really yummy and you can tell that they used a good ingredients, it really deserves enjoy every single bite of it, we tried the white and red sauces, we got the bolognese it was phenomenal. They got a complete bar with different selections of drinks/ cocktails. We wrapped it up with the Nutella dessert was fresh and yummy as well. This place deserves multiple visits. The staff is really friendly, joe is nice and helpful ☺️
We ended up at Gallucci's by default, and I am VERY pleased things worked out the way they did!! Old Town in Chicago has been beautified since we were last there & Gallucci is qn excellent addition! My wife & I are Neapolitan pizza lovers, and we were more than pleased! The crust was AMAZING, and the flavors were complimentary...very happy! The service was also excellent for a busy Saturday night & we enjoyed the entire experience!
Had dinner last night at Gallucci Pizzeria, can’t sing enough praise for the experience. Service was fantastic, waiter frank was very attentive and knowledgeable. From the drinks, to the appetizers, and pizza- it was a great visit. Highly recommended!
Unbelievable experience. We had reservations and were seated promptly. Service was impeccable; staff is very attentive. Being Italian, we are the worst critics when it comes to Italian food and Galucci’s exceeded our expectations. I closed my eyes as I sunk my teeth into that pizza and felt like I was back in Naples. Between the appetizers, the pasta, the pizza and dessert, each dish was better than the next. The variety of liquor and mixed cocktail selections were top notch. This was our first time there and we can’t wait to go back! BRAVO 👏
The pistachio pizza my wife got was awesome but mine was just meh. The crust of the pizza wasn’t cooked enough on the bottom and ended up being kind of soggy.
Update: Return visit last night. Enjoyed the spritz and the pistachio pizza again. But one again the other pizza we ordered (the parmigiana) was just ok. Also why is the espresso shot so skimpy?
Affordable, large portions, and good quality food. The atmosphere during weekday dinner is a bit loud with the blasting music. Service is attentive and friendly. Pizza dough is light and fluffy and no shortage of sauce. Reminded us of Naan bread! Food is a bit under seasoned but they have an amazing hot sauce and salt on the table to adjust your flavors. We haven't found our favorite dish yet but would love to come back to try the pasta dishes next time.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner at Gallucci in their outdoor patio! I tried the prosciutto and arugula pizza and the pistachio pesto pizza with sausage and honey. The crust was yeasty, perfectly crispy and nicely charred. The toppings were fresh and the pizza was perfectly cooked. The service was good and the wine list featured lots of nice Italian options. Definitely check out Gallucci!
Came in with friends as I had been wanting to check it out since opening.
We started with the Treccia di Bufala which was incredible. I wanted to eat the whole thing by myself.
For mains, we went with two pizze bianchi: Tartufata (w/ a GF crust) and Biancalana and one rosse: Terra Mia.
The Biancalana was my favourite of the three but all were great.
Only downside was that we were not aware of the GF crust up charge until the bill arrived. One of our party has celiac so she was very excited about the GF offering but was a bit disappointed that there was no mention of an up charge beforehand.
Otherwise, I will definitely be coming back and absolutely recommending it to others.
Great addition to the neighbourhood.
Gallucci’s has become my favorite place to eat good Italian food. My fiancé and I went for the first time last summer and we immediately fell in love with how good the food and atmosphere was for us. Went on my birthday and food was brought fresh and hot to us right away, drinks are great here. Overall vibe is just great. Service is good, very welcoming staff who cares about their customers 100%. Best Italian food I’ve ever had. I definitely do recommend Gallucci’s. The owner himself is a very great guy. Truly care and takes pride in his food for his customers. Definitely will be back real soon. 10/10
The best pizza that I’ve had.
I got pistachio pesto and it was delicious. If you like to try something different I would suggest getting this.
We also got this delicious Nutella dessert.
The staff was friendly and the wait for the food to get ready was also convenient.
First time here and hands-down a 5-star establishment. Italian comfort food made from scratch, friendly and classic service - What more can you ask for? Sit at the bar and watch pizza magic made in their unique oven. Pictured here is their Arancini - a must try(!) and their Tartufata pizza. Can't wait to try their red pizzas.
The pizza here is amazing! We got the Inferno and the Terra Mia, both were fresh tasting and very flavorful. Our bottle of wine was perfectly chilled and our server Joey was attentive and pleasant to talk to. This is going to be one of our regular spots to visit when in Chicago!
