Really great food, yummy tequila and a nice atmosphere. The nachos were kicked up about 10 notches, plenty of meat and cheese on them and a nice portion of guacamole. Definitely one of the best nacho plates l have ever had, and l have had a lot in my life!

This place is a must when visiting Fulton Market area. I think I’ve been once strictly for drinks and it was just okay. Went back last night for food and drinks and it changed my entire perspective! Primarily for the food, we had the Tlayuda, but also for the great customer service. Our server was the best! If you are looking for Tlayuda this the spot. It’s a toastada with cheese, we got steak on it, and bunch of other things for toppings. It did not disappoint. Please do yourself a favor and order it with the steak it is so so so worth it. We topped the night of with the strawberry flan. I don’t even like flan but Cruz Blanca gets it right tbh.

I Always enjoy visiting Cruz Blanca. Interesting beers and cocktails (including some really good mezcal based cocktails if that's your thing). The food is pricey for what you get but always tasty. Also Love that the patio is dog friendly! There's pros and cons of their ordering system. You order via a QR code and have to pace your order yourself. For example: if you order an app and entree at one time, you get it at the same time. It would have been nice if staff would have let us know that when we got seated but now we know for next time! I do like the self pay aspect and ability to have your own tab even in a big group.

Beware, they include a “Restaurant Surcharge” fee of 3.25% that can be removed upon request, but most people will never notice this. This is an underhanded way of sneaking in charges and is the only reason I am deducting stars from my rating. Now onto the food and experience. The service was great. Tacos were phenomenal as was the fried chicken torta. Beers were decent, and we lucked out that we were there when several barrel aged imperial stouts were released- these were fantastic and far exceeded the normal house beers.

Oh my goodness, I recently visited Cruz Blanca in Chicago and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience! The atmosphere was stunning, with large windows that allowed the perfect amount of light in. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food! I started off with a pitcher of the mango margarita, and I have to say, it was out of this world! It was the perfect blend of sweet and tangy, and really hit the spot. For my meal, I ordered the veggie tostada called "la clasica," and I have to say, it was the star of the show. The flavors were so fresh and vibrant, and I couldn't get enough of it! I also ordered three tacos, and the lamb cheeseburger was by far the best. It was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of seasoning. And let's not forget about the guac and chips - they were so delicious and fresh, it was hard not to fill up on them before my meal even arrived! Overall, I cannot recommend Cruz Blanca enough. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and staff were all top-notch. Whether you're looking for a fun night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two, Cruz Blanca is the perfect spot. So go ahead, give it a try - you won't regret it!

Visited Cruz Blanca for the first time today. It has easily earned a spot on my Top 10 Favorite Chicago Restaurants list! This food is astonishingly delicious. Definitely not your traditional Mexican food. Everything has a twist or is elevated in some way. The chips, guac, and salsas are all so fresh and tasty (especially the guac and the green salsa). The tacos are incredible as well. But what really blew my mind was the garlicky shrimp Cali Burrito. I made myself eat only half at the restaurant just so I could experience it again at home later. The classic margarita is GOOD. Great size, great flavor, and I was tipsy already just off of one! Ambience was perfect, too! Inside and out. Wait staff were attentive. The (female) Manager was so personable and it really showed that she took pride in her work and making us feel welcomed and appreciated. I will definitely return.

Very delicious place to get tacos and burritos 🌯. As I am addicted to tacos, I went there twice in a week to try out a bit of everything and I wasn’t deceived. Both times the service was excellent and the food very delicious. I was a bit surprised by the fries in the steak tacos, but that unexpected twist made it original. The portions are decent, the beer quenching and the drinks very good. I will definitely come back here for beer, tacos and burritos.

Great place for fun, innovative food, drinks, and TVs to watch sports. I wouldn’t say this is authentic Mexican food, but delicious nonetheless. Service was nice and the decor was very fun. Parking in the area on a weekend is a struggle, so go ahead and take that Uber. I recommend the avocado tostada (fresh, acidic, crunchy) and tres leches cake (sweet, soft, creamy). Both were fantastic!

Great service, s/o Yara! Walked right in and we were seated right away. The Clásica Giant Tostada was tasty and filling but still light. The beers are great and they have a beer and shot combo for 10 bucks. Not sure why it took me so long to find out about this place but I’m glad I did.

Was a 5/5 star place, but we really miss the chicken cali burrito and beer/shot combo. The Cali burrito is my favorite thing on the menu, and one of my favorite meals in the city. But now I can’t eat it because the chicken option was removed!

I am not going to say this is “authentic Mexican food” however, it is an awesome twisted delicious take on Mexican food, specially the tacos. The lamb cheeseburger taco was my favorite, I know who would have thought of this. The guacamole and chips order comes with two smalls green and red salsas.

This is a great place to stop for good Mexican food especially for the area. I also believe they own Lena Brava next door which I've also been too they are high end food. This place has a bunch of amazing drinks. A very very wide menu of unique Mexican beers and cocktails. The mezcel Marg was good. The spicy mango was sweater than it was spicy. MACHINA VERDE is a spicy. It was a minchalada made with serrano peppers instead of tomato juice. Super unique and good. Food wise they have some appetizers. The Caesar salad was one of the best salads I e had in a minute. I got the taco platter with two meats. It made 3 good sized tacos with a little for left overs. The chicken was better than the steak. The new mexico smothered burrito was very tasty. It's still not a classic wet burrito like from grand rapids or out west. But it is very very tasty and cheesy. And the cauliflower taco is to die for. My favorite item we got. I recommend for a layed back experience with a outdoor patio.

This place is a sleeper... we weren't going to stay because of the 20 minute wait and limited menu, but it was cold outside... We went to the bar...I had the mezcal margarita. It kept me in place...bomb. Then, I ordered the toastada with mushrooms...woah... it's like a big a$$ pizza... it was SO GOOD. I love it here...I would definitely come back. My +1 said it was the best burrito he ever had...ijs...

Food was great, the asada and chicken was so tender. Staff super friendly, our waiter had lots of knowledge of the draft beer.
