Pleasant House Pub - Chicago - Photo album

I had steak and ale pie on a trip to London earlier this year and fell in love with it. This was the only place in Chicago that had it on the menu. The only criticism I’ll give it is that the meat seemed more like stew beef as opposed to steak. However I still found it delicious and will come back n
Wonderful lunch in a great setting. The chicken balti pie had wonderful flavor and a Guinness always hits the spot. This is a great place for a small group of people and I’ll certainly be back.
Went for brunch and ordered the chicken pie and scotch egg. They were both pretty good for a good price. First time coming here and service plus atmosphere was great, so will definitely come back!
Tremendous little restaurant. The best British pub/restaurant in the city. They sell Cask Ale which is fantastic Good was good, they have a a vegan option which was OK, it would be nice if the vegan option was a bit more traditional.
We ordered delivery from Pleasant House. I asked for a couple of things that were on the regular menu, but not the online menu. They accommodated those requests beautifully! I would've totally understood if they'd declined my requests, so I can't thank them enough. Beyond that, the food was outstan

Decent breakfast. Good jam. Had to order a second go of it. Black pudding was interesting but the texture isn't my style. Def try it! Would order the breakfast platter again.
Very good experience. Service was good. The food was so yummy. Lots of things to try here. The place was decorated very cutely. Pies 4/5 Can’t go wrong with any of these. Wish they were a bit more saucy but other than that it was good. Sausage 5/5 Filling dish. The sausage was very light and with
