Amazing lounge for first or business class passengers. The service was friendly and attentive.
Interior is well-designed and spacious. Very quiet so you can work or just relax.
Food is good especially the sit down restaurant.
I was here between 7pm-9pm on a thurs night, and it was not busy.
-I did eat at the sit down dinning room, and ordered the chicago chicken dish. I found the portions to be small.
-There was beds to sleep on, in a seperate area
-buffet had good selection of food and drinks
It really is as good as you think it is! I had never been before and came December of 2023 for an evening departure flight. The lounge was busy but I still managed to find a seat and didn't have to wait more than a few seconds at the bar. If you have never considered Polaris before, I would highly recommend it!
Such a great lounge with nice and healthy food options. Great friendly and professional staff.
This young man from Ecuador (I don’t recall his name) is amazing behind the bar! He offered me a tailored cocktail with the cutest print. I’ve traveled to a lot of places, and I’ve often been quite disappointed by some lounges. This one is beyond expectations. Nice and clean. The atmosphere is relaxing too. I’m looking forward to stopping over here soon.
Please please please, congratulate the employees for doing a great job! They are excellent
The lounge is really nice, with lots of seating space, great views of the concourse and solid overall service. The main buffet options were also surprisingly good. The main thing I found disappointing was their restaurant meal service. The entree was lackluster and the dessert was barely there. Overall an great lounge still, but didn't quite hit 5 stars.
Beautiful lounge but may need improvement since the United Club has been renovated.
The Dining Room is nice . Small plates but superb friendly service.
Crowded during my visit and the buffet was only average vs other domestic lounges, BUT The Dining Room and shower suites will ensure I fly Polaris again. Simply the best meal I’ve had in years. Service from Jose was fast, personable, and fun. The Belgian meatballs were delicious and I could’ve eaten several orders. The chocolate chip cookie skillet is a can’t-miss. There is no other option to me. Finish off with a refreshing rainfall shower in a spacious suite and United is earning my loyalty.
One of the best lounge at ORD. You can take a shower and relax with a variety of wine selections.
This is by far the best lounge at O’hare, if you’re flying international business class and if you are a Star Alliance Gold card holder. The opening hours were better before the pandemic - now the nice restaurant closes at 7pm and the entire lounge closes at 9pm. That is a real pity as many flights depart much later than that, and this is the reason we only award four stars.
The food in the nice restaurant is very tasty and free of charge (but we always tip generously), and the same goes for the full bar, which serves craft beer, lagers, wine (quite good ones), as well as cocktails and whisky (we tip as generously here).
There is a casual buffet which is nothing special - more like an emergency option when the restaurant is full or closed.
There is an abundance of seating options, and it is possible to get some privacy for work or a couch for a group.
There is a large number of private bathrooms which are really convenient if you need to change and freshen up before a long flight.
The staff is friendly, even if the overall experience was better before the pandemic. It seems the staff might need some additional training in some instances.
Nonetheless this is a great place to relax or get some work done before a long flight.
Great spot to wait for your next flight. Bloody Mary was amazing, pork andouille&shrimp étouffée hit the spot. It was pretty empty on a Wednesday noon time. They have a bed even if you’ve got a long layover. Huge bathrooms and showers.
I recommend you to add waiting list of the dining room as soon as you arrived.
It’s worth waiting and eating.
it’s a nice signature hamburger!
You can add avocado, bacon, onion, mushroom and so on.

Plenty of space to stretch out and relax before your flight. Huge selection of spirits, beer, soft drinks, etc. The food is pretty good...significantly better than the standard United Club.
Really nice lounge, was there in the morning so was quiet. the reception staff were really nice and helpful with my questions, everyone else had smiles on, full breakfast available, I opted for an everything bagel with turkey cheese and bacon fresh fruit and of course some Lanson Champers....everything you need
Without a doubt, the best, cleanest lounge at O'hare.
Actual restuarant inside as well.
*Plenty of snacks, cheeses, meats and more.
*Salads, pasta and Chicken.
*Major coke brand canned soda.
*Great bar and staff.
*20+ Huge, individual bathrooms.
*Shower rooms/ Changing areas.
A good option for international premium cabin passengers. The dining room here is much smaller than at other Polaris lounge locations (e.g., IAD, EWR) and consequently gets busy; frequent waitlist scenarios. Robust food offerings taking wholesale restaurant food distributor supplied ingredients to the max. Offerings overlap with self-serve area. Service has improved.
Very good United lounge and compared to the former United lounges this location is a 180-degree turnaround. It is spacious and clean and has even shower facilities and an à la carte restaurant. They offer a wide selection of delicious food and drink choices. Usually it is not too crowded when I‘m visiting this place. Staff is always friendly.
The United Polaris Lounge in Chicago is definitely a step up from all the other United lounges that I have visited. The check in staff was extremely friendly, some of the staff at other lounges act more like entrance bouncers to nightclubs looking for a way to keep you out. The lounge was clean, staff quickly picked up dirty dishes, and the buffet was spotless. The food choices were the best I have seen at any United Polaris lounges with multiple options with relatively tasty food. The bar tender was friendly, quick, and did not up charge me for drinks that are normally free. Only issue I had is that they closed at 9:00 pm which seems really early for a large airport, most international airline's lounges are open 24 hours or at least as late as the airport is open.
