For many years this place had been one of my favorites places to go...food delicious, service excellent, our waiter was so high class service
I went other night with my bestie, we got lucky found our own street parking. I love Mexican food, this by far was the best. I had the enchiladas w/ creamy sour cream sauce, black beans & rice ..so flavorful & delicious Yumm!!! I also had the platinum swirl drink which was also Yumm!!! The waitress.. very quick professional w/ a sense of humor .. we didn't wait long for anything & she made sure to check-in through out our the course of our stay. She definitely deserved her tip. Enjoyed our visit very much & will be returning:)

Best salsa anywhere!!! Super, SUPER thin and crispy homemade tortilla chips. And I have an allergy to sugar and the "skinny 'Rita" is made with agave......perfect for me!!!! Shopping on North Ave is terrific and Uncle Julios is just the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cocktail and a wonderful meal after shopping.

Had an amazing lunch after a family 5k in city. Server mentioned fajitas were their specialty I totally agree. We split the shrimp fajitas paired with a spicy Nina margarita and had the piñata dessert. Just enough no frills lunch. They make the tortillas in main dining area pretty cool and delicious!
I specifically like this location compared to Orland. The food is fresher, always a nice waiter nd the outside is nice as well. I don't really care for the valet parking. Street parking is easy to find. Nice outside seating area as well. Calling in sometimes the hostess isn't the friendliest but the overall experience is nice. This past time the waiter name was Alexander and that was the best service that I've had in a long time. I do wish the portion size was bigger for the fajita trio and to add on 3 shrimp for $12 is crazy.
Been coming here over 20yrs.... and never have been disappointed. The service is great, food has changed a bit in quantity, but still great.
Such a nice atmosphere food was good and the dessert was awesome!!! I liked the tortilla machine making fresh tortillas. The waiter was nice he could have checked on the table more often but overall I'll be coming back. Only negative is the valet parking we literally parked our own car in the lot 20ft from the restaurant and were charged $12 to park.
I think people go more for the atmosphere. The food is good but nothing mind blowing, drinks are good but overpriced for the serving size. The staff was very friendly and mostly attentive.
I got the steak and chicken fajitas for one. The steak and chicken were perfectly grilled in a buttery baste. The rice and beans were solid and the chips and salsa were a tasty appetizer. The only downside was the guac which wasn't salty or acidic but worked well within a tortilla. Overall combining all the elements together made for a delicious, filling dinner.
Augustin is the best!! I came in for a quick bite during happy hour - I only had a little bit of time and he was super attentive and went out of his way to get everything bagged up for me. The hosts were friendly too and accommodating as I came alone and asked to sit outside. The deals for happy hour are great, $5 for a frozen Swirl which is my favorite!! First time at this location and I’ll definitely be back for Augustin!! <3
We had the table side Guacamole (customized Guac) special in which they will make the Guacamole in front of you. It was the best Guacamole for me. The service was very nice. Our waiters was all nice and attentive. They make their own tacos. They have a taco machine and you will be able to see how they make. It was sp entertaining to watch them make food.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The food quality is amazing
…the meat is perfectly seasoned and cooked… and the customer service is beyond expectation.
I’ve been here probably 15 to 20 times and I’ve never had a bad experience so I’m hoping that streak stays up!! lol I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to try some good quality taco meat and a reasonable price. They also have a great lunch special

Visited Uncle Julio’s with minimal expectations, overall was content with the experience. With your traditional “Tex-Mex” menu, the Chicken Fajitas are well seasoned and juicy ! Their Margaritas are salty & sweet, but not overwhelming. Surprisingly, their chips & salsa are great ! During a Friday lunch dine-in, the staff was nice and attentive. Atmosphere was enjoyable as well, with top 10 Reggaeton Music playing in the background. You’d expect some Mexican Music ? Also just to note, if you get fajitas they come with flour tortillas. If would be great if they offer the option to choose from Flour & Corn.
My first visit, I wanted something different so my son suggested Uncle Julio's . I enjoyed the experience everything was hot and fresh. And Michael our sever was very helpful, kind and friendly. I will return
Walked in, waited to be seated, and observed Mexican authenticity. I had the Carne asada well done, steak was tender, not chewy, and presention was eye-catching. My wife had the chicken breast tender, not dry. My daughter had the kid meal beef taco. All in all, we had a pleasant time there.
Best authentic Mexican food! Drinks are amazing. Server was very nice, but we had a group of 7 and he should have written it down, had missing items, wrong items, and no items. So we all couldn't eat together.
