Food is delicious. The steak fajita taco and Al pastor tacos are my favorite. The Baja fish taco is also great. The street corn/elote is very good. The servers are great. Drinks are great. Margaritas are strong, delicious and flavorful. Pricing is fair, somewhat pricey but definitely worth it. Restaurant is clean. Can get busy at times. Street parking is the only option. I definitely recommend visiting.
My favorite taco place of all time!! I am absolutely in love with their mango margarita with a chile rim. They have the best tacos to me. It’s a small place that packs a lot of good flavors into their food. I have been going here for a few years and I am never disappointed. This is my favorite place to go on a date. Each and every time I go, I love it more than the last time.
This place is not really traditional Mexican food but it was definitely delicious. The Baja tacos and the steak torta were very tasty. My favorite part was the grapefruit margarita , And the delicious guacamole and queso dip! It tasted like Mexican corn! We also tried the aguas frescas which were also delicious! Our only complaint is that we needed more tortillas because our tacos were quite heavy :)
Also our waitress Jackie was fantastic & descriptive! We will def be back for round 2!
Seriously good tacos, some may say they are small and not great value and maybe they are on the small side but damn they are good. Best 🐟 🌮 I've had in the Midwest and steak was out of this world. The margaritas were strong, tasty and just what you want on a weekend anytime of day. Service... outstanding!
Not a typical Mexican restaurant however, food and service were gr8. More like an upscale taco joint Portions not as large as other places but food was tasty and so were the drinks (esp. Made in Mexico drink - get rdy for a little kick and punch).
It is simply the best taco that I had tested. I am talking about the cochinita taco that comes with the red marinated onion on the top. The service was nice, fast and polite. The ambience is unique.I like the huge painted walls. If you have a space for desserts I will recommend the pina colada tres leches.
Amazing tacos. Can't go wrong with Barbacoa and Conchinita - flavors well balanced and with a twist on the classics. Also, try the Ceviche Taco (the one in the picture) - it's a pleasant surprise.

The food was AMAZING! I am a picky eater when it comes to Mexican food, so this rating means a lot in my book. I had a couple of tacos that were on special, and they were so worth it! Their tortilla soup hit the spot and was tasty. Their margaritas are fruity and strong; a good balance between the two.
Great tacos and great margaritas! A little pricey but not too bad for the area. They've also got daily specials for lunch and dinner which is awesome! A cool small restaurant with an intimate feel. You can eat at the bar or at a table. We've had great service every time we've gone and it's definitely a favorite spot in LP.
Love this place for easy eats and drinks with friends. It's not too loud, but has a nice busy atmosphere without feeling rushed. Their fish tacos are my all time favorite. The shrimp tacos and vegetarian options are great too. Their chile mango margarita is great, try one and you'll fall in love!
Tasty tacos in a good environment. You definitely have the feel that you're in a chain. But I don't feel as if that detracts from the overall vibe of the location. The servers were kind and accommodating. I enjoyed the Thursday special of pork belly. I would have gotten more if I wasn't full.

Let's start with how beautiful and artistic that place is . It got that smokey underground vibe. The staff was more than welcoming and happy just to see us.
There tacos are amazingly made . Delicious beyond words. They had this special where you can get a modello beer and get a tequila shots for an extra dollar . You can imagine how happy I was with this deal!
All and all I would say it was a great experience and I would definitely go back there .

Taco Joint is amazing! Excellent food, drinks and atmosphere.
Taco Joint has the best dark-in-the-daytime bar vibe. Staff is super friendly, and this is a go-to spot with my coworkers. Mr. Taco (vegetarian) is delicious, such a unique recipe that I wish they would have it daily rather than as a Monday special. I've heard the chicken torta is good and recurring order among my friends. Only critique is that sometimes food quality can be hit/miss.
I love this place. The tacos are reasonably priced (for this neighborhood) & always awesome. Very kid-friendly - got high-chairs. Order accuracy on takeout was a little suspect for a while but seems to have improved in recent times - so now no complaints!
