food was amazing I came to find Kabobi by a client who suggested it and said it was bar far the best in the city. I have to say she wasn't off base in her comment the portions were generous so bring some friends or family to share in the goodness. I had a vegetarian platter appetizer and the Filet with rice. meat was melt in the mouth tender and full of flavor the rice was amazing and everything was so fresh. I will definitely be back again and again!

Two words: Alabaloo Polo. Basmati rice with saffron, dried cherries and caramelized red onions-it was so delicious! The House Vegetarian was enormous and the grilled veggies with that amazing rice were 5 star. And the falafel was divine. The Roasted Red Pepper tahini sauce was SO delicious and the dolmeh were fantastic. And the service was warm, efficient and luxurious even though we ate on a Friday night at sunset during Ramadan. Meaning it was PACKED! I will be back again for sure and will bring friends! *Special shout out to Dinah (spelling not sure?) who went above and beyond and was absolutely a gem in the midst of dinner rush chaos. Her warmth encompassed everything that made Kabobi a place to return to again and again.

This place is amazing. In first look, you make think it is a small place and not very fancy, but don't judge. They have high quality foods and large portion and it is cheaper than other Persian Restaurant in US. I love their Kabob, it is even better than most of Kabobi in Tehran.

Second time I have been here and it has been excellent on both occasions. Large portions of delicious authentic persian food at a reasonable price! The owner and staff are very friendly and attentive. Seriously, if you love good food go try it out if you haven't. You won't be disappointed :)

I went to Kabobi and had a combo entree. It was delicious! The food is alot... I had to box it up and after I did that I went to the restroom to wash my hands. Upon returning my box and my Pepsi can were mistakenly thrown out (Waiter thought I left). When the manager found out what happened.. He hooked me up with brand new entree and Pepsi to go. Not many restaurants do that... these guys went way up and beyond expectations. Will surely eat here again.

Their service is great but their food has the best quality! The owner whenever we go there comes to our table and asks how we like the food. Very clean restaurant. Last but not least they are baby-friendly restaurant. We love this place. Definitely five star!

Of all the Persian restaurants I've eaten at, this was by far the best as far as taste and portions! So much delicious food at great prices. I only wish they were closer to Naperville. Maybe some day...

We've been enjoying the fare here for a while, but today has blown my mind. The saffron rice with cranberry and caramelized onion is amazing. I cannot possibly overstate the joy my taste buds experienced this evening. Thank you so much! Congratulations on the new room!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The chicken and steak kabobs were exceptional, incredibly tender and juicy. They stand out as some of the best kabobs I've had in Chicago. The dessert was a delightful surprise with the addition of flowers, imparting a high-intense after taste flavor. It added a unique and memorable touch to the experience.

Awesome Persian place! Amazing food and great service! And the lamb biriyani is huge, I mean HUGE. The picture does not sure how big it is, but after we finished, it looked like no one even touched it! The left over for that one dish did not fit into one big takeout box, and it was only 23 bucks and it tasted so great! Easily became my one of my favorite restaurant in town!

This cute places reminds me of eating dinner at home. Price is very reasonable knowing how big the portion is. I recommend going to this place with a bigger group so you can try multiple dishes. I’m not a big fan of their desserts.

Delicious Persian restaurant! Large casual dining space. All of the best frozen Persian desserts. I enjoyed the gheymeh with 1/2 rice and 1/2 salad. The portions were pretty large. Lunch plate with kubideh was also delicious and well balanced..came with hummus, Persian salad and rice. We'll be back. Definitely the best we've had in Chicago.

We enjoyed dining in this restaurant. Every single part of it reminds me of Iran. Very friendly manager! He kindly welcomes everyone. The menu was impressive, lots of options! The food was delicious, the chicken could have been better but it was in general great. Definitely try their Bamiye and tea. Very fresh and crispy! The olive side dish was fantastic, too.

This is the Real Deal !! Great owner and staff. Fabulous menu!! Came back next day after my first try! Lamb shank first day, kabobs the next! I saved this location. I watched the fresh vegetables being delivered, all top shelf. Great color and quality. 6 stars.

Delicious Persian food. Excellent tomato soup which came with pita bread. Lots of flavor. We ordered the special mix plate for four people. Chicken kabob, steak kabob, beef kabob, with charred vegetables and onions and tomatoes . Everything came with two types of rice. White rice and dill rice. Hot tea comes with your meal. The meat was delicious, moist and well seasoned. The dill rice is outstanding. I highly recommend this dish if you haven't had Persian food. It's a great way to sample the food. The restaurant was very busy and the service was outstanding. The owner came by to say hello and ask us about our meal. I loved that the weather was pretty nice out and the restaurant windows slid open for a great breeze. The restaurant could use a few upgrades on the tables and ambiance but you can't go wrong with the food. The amount you get is ridiculous. The doggie bags were at least two pounds because of the amount of food you get. I will go here again.

The food was top notch, some of the best Persian/Mediterranean food I’ve had. Splurge a little and make sure to get the adas polo rice with your meal, it’s so flavorful and aromatic. Highly recommend checking it out!

I wanted to eat Noon O'Kabab today, but my partner suggested Kabobi instead. We went to Kabobi and I'm glad we did! I ordered the Lunch Combination 4, which had chicken, lamb, and dill rice. The chicken was SO juicy and the portion size was way more than I expected. Not only that, the waiter gave us free tea and dessert, which I so appreciated. The value is amazing. Will come again.

One of the finest place for good kebabs. Any kind of kebabs- chicken, lamb, fish etc. really good food with quick service They serve in huge quantities at fair price which I think makes a difference. They serve in traditional steel plates which I think adds that homely and authentic feel. Tried their chicken kebabs meal with dill rice. Absolutely good. Falafels and desserts are okayish. Decent service and atmosphere ( very casual)

My boyfriend and I always try to find really delicious & great value restaurants, especially right before my flights at O'Hare 😂 I travel globally A LOT for work ✈️ So this spot was one of them, on the way to O'Hare in Albany Park /Kimball I don't think I've ever seen such a GREAT DEAL in Chicago 💸. The whole meal was only ~$50 total. They had humongous plates , let alone fall-off-the-bone meats I can see why they've been around for 10 years ! Congrats 🎉 𝙁𝙚𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙤: 1️⃣for some reason , they will only speak to the MAN and address him as Mr. or sir. 👨‍💼 Even though I was paying for the meal 😂 ... They are SO NICE though... So maybe it's a cultural thing 🤷‍♀️ do you know why? Because I'm a little stunned 😂 2️⃣ the lamb neck is ONLY available on Fridays & Saturdays 🐑 3️⃣They open till 1am! Check out the late night menu 🌃 4️⃣ I tried some local drinks like the yogurt soda , but it was not good. # 5️⃣ But they have other local items like Persian ice cream, baklava, churro-like fried doughnut 6️⃣ You don't have to order the full appetizer, but can tag them as smaller sides for your entrees 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 & 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 - lamb neck $22 - chicken kebab $18 - hummus (side) - falafel (side) - tabouli $7.95 - Persian tea (complimentary) - baklava $2.95 - bamieh $2.95 𝘿𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙨 📍@kabobigrill 4748 N Kedzie Ave, Chicago IL Open 10:30am to 1:00am Follow me @biteswithbessy on Instagram for more places like this!

One of the best if not the the best kebob you can have around Chicago. I am not a tourist at this cousin. I came from a culture invented kebab. The picture shows their lunch special. Rice is absolutely delicious so the humus and the salad. Name of the dish is Lamb kobideh. They also serve tea after the meal. Let me rell you, It's not like those biritish type. It's real authentic Persian tea. Smell, texture and aroma perfect to have after a lunch this 👌. Service was also worth to mention. At least 15 times I have been here and they never disappoint me. I think this is the most important after all.

I just got appetizers. I ordered for take out. Parked on the street in front of the place. There's a guy that will do valet . The Hummus was good, just expected more. The Baba Ghanouch was good too. I got an order of Falafel. Which was cold after a 10 minute drive back home 😒. Now the Lamb and Beef kefta skewers were great 👍.

DELICIOUS fresh food (I got the chicken and lamb kabobs and both were delicious), the team has done a great job in letting the authentic flavors shine versus relying on any gimmicks or sauces. Great portion sizes, friendly staff and spacious, laid-back family-friendly environment.

The food is great, the manager (I guess the owner) is professional, polite and friendly. We enjoyed our main dishes: Kobide and Soltani. Zeytoon parvarde is great! We regret not ordering more to take home!
