Le Petit Paris - Chicago - Photo album

this is one of the best restaurants I've been to, the waiter-owner was captivating and made our evening wonderful, he is an incredibly polite and cheerful person, the food was also delicious, the atmosphere in the restaurant is wonderful, this is an amazing place, my friends and I left completely de
Such a great find! Tucked away in an innocuous condo building is this little corner of France. Authentic, fresh dishes served sometimes by the chef himself. Make sure to stop by to make reservations in advance as seating is limited.
A small piece of Paris right here in the Windy City! Don’t go for a quick bite, but for a dining experience. The food is amazing, and despite what some say about the service - it is actually top notch with a very personal touch. It is literally a Parisian experience - enjoy the slower paced dinin
Love this quaint little French restaurant. Food is always delicious, and the owner/chef/server Alain is a gem. He truly does it all, so just plan to enjoy yourself.
This is my favorite restaurant in all of Chicago. The cuisine is to die for, prices are unbelievable. The owner/chef is wonderful! I have been coming here for years. In response to a few reviews I read: Service may be a little slow as the owner/chef has been unable to hire waitstaff, this doesn’t
Monsieur Alain is a joy! He’s a no-nonsense restauranteur who is very knowledgeable and serious about food. He owns & runs this small old school joint and wears many hats: host, server, bartender, & chef. Last night me and my boyfriend started with a bottle of red wine, escargot, and French onion so
Lovely dinner and atmosphere! Highly recommend for a leisurely evening of wonderful food with friends and/or family. Not the place for a quick meal. Definitely worth the wait.
First time coming here to celebrate my fiancés birthday, and I can not wait to come back! The food was absolutely phenomenal. The owner /host (Alain ) was so sweet and truly added to the wonderful experience. Thank you!
This was one of the best french restaurant experiences I have had. Allen, the chef and host is a delight, very charming and excellent host. One of the best onion soups I have had in America. The atmosphere is great too, with french music playing and feels very much french.
This place is amazing. A hidden gem. Our table had corn soup, onion soup, cheese plate to start. For mains we had steak frites and gnocchi. Everything was delicious. The owner is so nice and accommodating. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
Amazing place for a romantic dinner. Host/owner was amazing. Reservations are required but very much worth it. I cant wait to go back on my next trip
A true gem! Authentic French restaurant with outstanding food. Small quaint cozy just like you would expect a French Restaurant and Alan the owner is magnificent and a gracious host. Hard to get in since there are only 8 tables but worth it if you get the chance. We have been in Chicago for five day
Everything was at the highest level. Special thanks to the chef for the service and unforgettable atmosphere)
The food is excellent as was the atmosphere. The owner is a wonderful man and made us feel right at home. Would absolutely recommend.
Lovely experience even if the place is a bit dated and somewhat dark. The food was good and the service, though perhaps a bit quirky, good as well. Loved the authentic French cuisine that was straightforward and not haughty.
Alain sure does know what he's doing in this quaint, old school French restaurant. Food and drinks are top notch, just like Alain's charm!
Excellent food for a very decent price. Just play along with the waiter and you'll be fine. He'll make some weird jokes but just be nice and you won't have problems.
