Salero - Chicago - Photo album

Definitely worth visiting. The dishes were amazing. The paella is excellent. Great ambience and selection of wine.
Overall a very good meal. We decided to focus on the smaller plates instead of the main courses. We had the duck empanadas. The flavor was good but we found the orange sauce a bit overwhelming. We loved the jamon Serrano with the burraalta cheese and a bit of crunch from the fried zucchini flower.
Great food and ambience. Would have liked a little more vegetarian options such as veg paella
Did not try the cocktails but they looked of formidable quality. The food itself was amazing, from starter to dessert, with both seasonal and non-seasonal dishes available. The octopus dish was paired with a very nice, tangy mixture between a salad and pickled veggies. Friendly service, nice ambianc
Excellent food and service. Felt like I was back in Spain.
It's a bit pricey, but the food is delicious. The wine selection is very good, and there are a variety of price points. The atmosphere was pretty good; a little loud but not so bad as to feel like you have to yell to be heard by your companions.
Fine dining food without fine dining prices. Portions were just right. The quail and squash tortellini are excellent. Didn't try the paella. Wait staff was on point. The space is much larger than neighboring avec which looks really crammed from the outside. Not a huge selection of food but what was
We started with two cocktails that were super boozy but still very drinkable or as my mother would say "coma cocktails". We wanted to keep it light so we chose the beet salad. Pretty typical presentation but fantastic execution. Sam got the pork belly which tasted fantastic but was just a tiny bit f
Pay no attention to any negative reviews. Wonderful food with so much attention to detail. I wish that you live long enough to enjoy the anchovy toast. Helpful service. Warm atmosphere. I do not usually take the time to write reviews . This restaurant is worth it.
Wow, what an amazing experience! Sweet breads to start....just melted in my mouth. I asked the waiter to bring what the chef was proud of for my main entree. I received the perfect plate of venison. Other members in my party had the lobster and fell in love. I had the pleasure to goto the kitche
I had the sea bass the first night of visiting Chicago, and it was so good I had to go back for more the next day (had the paella, also amazing). The staff and the bar tenders in particular were amazing people as well. 6 stars.
Absolutely loooved the food there. Their burrata is love! Their tapas were so good and they were flexible on options/ switching some food. Also, we had very good wine with the tapas. Wish I could go back!
I can’t speak for the food but I met some friends here later in the evening for drinks and loved it. Great atmosphere and friendly bartenders. Will definitely be back again and will get food that time for sure.
Great Service, Tasty Food and Nice Ambiance. Really enjoyed the Priorat by the glass. The Octopus and Jamon Serrano starter were outstanding. Enjoyed the swordfish and pork dish and the extra foie gras appetizer ordered was amazing. Finished with blood orange flan and churros, both very good. Would
Food was great, but service kind of slow
Everything was delicious and the wait staff was incredibly friendly. Their portions were bigger than everyone expected and we ordered way too much food but it was all delicious.
