Chant - Chicago - Photo album

Warm, contemporary dining spot in Hyde Park. Food was satisfying and not overly seasoned. Staff friendly and attentive. Fine for a date, after work meet-up or business meeting. Warm tones, subdued background noise allows for easy conversations in which you can hear each other. Parking, of course in
Everything we ordered came fresh and flavorable. Went on a Monday around 1pm and there wasn't a crowd. Tried the oxtails, catfish, and lamb chops. All have an Asian flare and influence, so do go expecting soul or Caribbean food. Stay open minded and you will enjoy. The only issue my dinner mates h
A few weeks back, I met someone I had connected with online for the first time. I have to admit, I was hesitant about the restaurant choice, but it turned out to be a great experience. The ambiance was top-notch, with a live band and a singer. The menu had some unique names, but the food was fantast
The environment and food here is amazing! This was the first time I have been here. The first time I ordered a BBQ duck Tacos. The taste was amazing even though it’s kinda small. The second time I ordered a dash cooked with shrimp and my boyfriend got a Pad Thai. The tastes are awesome again! We cam
Nice lunch and dining experience. Shrimp salad and shrimp/grits were both delicious with nice flavor. Ambiance was good for lunch, likely more intimate during the evening time. Nice decor, very cultural in theme. Service was good, waiter was fairly attentive and was moderately friendly. Overall no c
I really enjoy eating here prior to the Lifetime half marathon. Staff is fantastic besides the food and environment. Fantastic entertainment.
The atmosphere is very smooth while bringing great display of food and drinks.... definitely date night material, but bring a budget of 100 dollars or more because it is upscale in prices. Great presentation for food, but some plates were ok not very tasty. I will say their curry catfish plate and K
Could be a little bigger. Prices are reasonable. Variety of good food. Good prices. Better menu. Cocktail glasses Could be bigger. Had to ask the bartender to make my blue margarita correctly, was good after
This is a great restaurant. Will definitely return to try other dishes. Come with an open mind. We had the fried catfish and macaroni. The macaroni was pretty bland but everything else was great. Pear martinis were delicious . We also had the kung pao wings and the shrimp rolls.
The 53rd street noodle and pad Thai ARE AMAZING. The soup and the tacos are also fantastic. A must try.
Marvelous place! Great everything! Will definitely be going back. We had the Fried Green Tomatoes, Spicy Chicken Wings, Shrimp and Chicken Jambalaya and Ox Tails. Fantastic! πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜πŸ‘
My family took my cousin here for his 25th birthday. The food was so amazing. I had the beef short rib with rice and broccoli. It was delicious and the drink were awesome. The service was 5 stars for me. Only bummer they do card for vaccination or ask for 24 covid result to dine there. I will defini
Chant is a serious experience you deserve to enjoy for yourself. Not only does the restaurant have a most beautiful "Zen" esthetic, they also had a live band playing old school jazz as tou dine. The staff is so friendly and amazing. The menu is very unique and the serving sizes are huge! I had the c
It's one of my favorite restaurants 😍 The food and drinks are always on point for me, especially the pear martini....
Okay I love a trendy taco option on the menu so when I saw BBQ duck tacos with pear pico I had to try it. Oh my gosh, it was delicious! I always have high expectations for fusion restaurants, and I was impressed by Chant! Even the decor inside keeps you guessing as to what kind of food you're going
