One of the coolest places I've been to! Everyone stayed in character... it really felt like you were back in the prohibition. The food was great and you definitely get A LOT. The prime rib was huge as well as the salad. Impossible to leave hungy. The music, dancing, acting was all above and beyond. Every little detail in the restaurant was of that era. Everyone should go at least once! You learn a lot of history and the old pictures on the wall of Capone are really neat. One thing I would recommend is to bring cash. They have a few fun things throughout the show they sell for a couple bucks.

Fun Fun Fun from the time you walk in the door. All the members of "Da" crew are amazing and keep you entertained the entire time. They keep the audience involved and on their toes. Our server was Sugar, she was amazing and had a great voice. Highly recommend checking them out for any occasion, even just a night out.

I've been to a number of gangster themed dinner theatres over the years and Tommy Gun's Garage goes to the top of the list. I loved that the location was done in true "speakeasy" fashion. There are no signs advertising the venue and it's a very plain looking building facade. I was told that it was built on the site where BiG Jim Colosimo had his restaurant back in the day. Knowing the secret password to get in was a nice touch. The interior is decorated with a collection of photographs, newspaper and props from the era and from "The Untouchables" movie and 1990's television series. I loved the vintage car and telephone booth! I found the staff and players very friendly and attentive. Most of them also double as the entertainment singing songs from familiar movies and Broadway shows like "Robin and the Seven Hoods", "Guys and Dolls" and of course "Chicago". The food was quite good. I had the minestrone soup with The Kingpin Prime Rib with a baked potato. Later on a cannoli for dessert. It's the attention to detail that helps create the atmosphere of the 1920's. At previous dinner theatre experiences it was buffet style with a few selections that aren't period correct....(ie chicken wings). The personal service and warmth of the players made one feel comfortable in the surroundings. At the end of the night I even got a photograph with most of the players. Tommy Gun's Garage, you sure are swell!

This was by far our favourite part of the trip and we found it as a fluke! Our server (stretch) was hilarious and wonderful. Even when the show was going on we were well taken care of. Food was decent, drinks were great. Dessert was excellent. The show overall was funny and interactive would definitely recommend and return for a second time if we are ever back in town.

If you're looking for a fun time, and excellent food, then Tommy Gun's is the place for you. Dress casual, or go all out and dress up roaring twenties style. Either way you're in for a night of fun and entertainment

What a fun time! I tagged along with my son's high school choir and everyone had a blast. The entertainment was great! The setting and criticism from the staff was excellent to! Everyone was very friendly! I like the secrecy of the location but my uber driver wasn't sure where to drop us off and after the show one of the staff dressed in gangster suit attire tried to get us a taxi but kept scaring them off. It was sort of funny to watch. Would book a reservation again if and when I go back to Chicago. Had a great trip!

A little unmarked building at 2114 S. Wabash that takes you back in time to Chicago in the 40's. This is a great place to bring groups, go for your birthday or any other occation. The food choices included lasagna with or without meat, two types of chicken or a prime rib all served with a baked potato and green beans along with a choice of soup or salad and finished with a mini canoli for desert. The food was excellent and there is a full bar. I have to say, as good as the food was, the show was even better. The servers multi task and perform and do an excellent job. It is a highly entertaining audience interactive show with music performed live by a drummer and painist. The performers all sing and dance and keep you entertained throughout. Highly recommended and would go back again.

What a wonderful evening! The best night of laughs I've had in awhile. I laughed and smiled so much my face hurt, no joke! I took 10 - 16 & 17 yr old girls & some of their parents because we were in town for a huge National Volleyball Tournament. As we all know, it's hit or miss w/ teenagers, but they all loved the dinner & the show so much that it absolutely made our trip and created such memorable times for us all to share together, forever. The dinner was excellent! I had the biggest, best piece of prime rib I've ever seen and several of my girls had the lasagna & some the chicken, everyone was totally satisfied w/ their dinner, no complaints. The staff was so fun, charming and paid so much attention to everyone in the joint. They really made us all feel special and welcomed. These Dolls can't say enough good things about their experience at Tommy Gun's Garage and we didn't even partake in the Hooch! I would highly recommend if u want a fun evening out w/ friends or family of all ages to spend the money and go! You won't be disappointed.

My wife surprised me with reservations to the speakeasy for my birthday! Had a great time! Huge portion of prime rib, plenty of hooch! Of course she drove us back to our room. The staff were awesome both on stage and off. We even wore clothes of the era. Loved it! Love her!
