Love the old school glitz of the hotel! Love the peace of being off lakeshore drive instead of the noisy inner city. Room walls are a little thin. Can hear next door talking. Over all great experience, but the hotel bar smells like gym socks and is too hot. Could only stand to be in there for 1 d
Perfect location on Magnificent Mile. Close to various attractions, restaurants, shopping areas. Very friendly, helpful, and attentive Staff. However, the hotel is definitely showing its age, and perhaps has not had the best maintenance and upkeep. For its reputation, the going nightly rates, and th
Stayed for 2 night while visiting family. We were excited to stay at this historic hotel. Service was EXCELLENT friendly, informative, and everything was very clean. The rooms and bed was small. Radiator made noise throughout the night. Valet was $75/day.
Really great service and location in a historic building. Dining options were good, and the afternoon tea was a treat. The beds are sure comfy but rooms lack amenities including outlets on both sides of bed, mini fridge, and bathroom exhaust. Not the place to stay if you're seeking a luxury feel, bu
Beautiful classic and classy spot - not your modern boutique hotel, rather a taste of class from years gone by! Breakfast at the oak st Cafe was fantastic. Service was second to none - all staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Some aspects of the room seemed dated (shower, some furniture a bit wo

She would love to have a reception here if we could. When we come back if we don’t do Hawaii next.. she’s making an app
Front desk staff really came through for me. We booked 2 non Lakeview rooms, but when we got there we had 2 Lakeview adjoining rooms. We really appreciated the view and the communicating rooms. The location is in the midst of great shopping, with Bloomingdale’s and Saks (I think) right close by,
Andrei helped us reserve a room after I forgot to confirm it weeks ago. And Javier gave us an amazing Holiday Tea experience! Plus Ben helped us find our Lyft. Everyone was so friendly we had an amazing time.
My business partners and I travel to Chicago twice a year for work and usually stay at the Holiday Inn at Wolf Point. We switched it up this year and stayed here and it was a wonderful experience. Spacious rooms, incredibly friendly and flexible front desk team and great housekeeping. My room had a
There aren’t many other places I’d stay in downtown Chicago besides the Drake. This is a wonderful historic hotel. The staff here is excellent. The food is excellent. It’s like stepping back in time when everything was glamourous and well taken care of. This place is very well run and managed.
