Mana Foodbar - Chicago - Photo album

We've gone before and after renovations in winter, spring, summer and fall. Nice to sit outside during the warmer months otherwise it's a quaint little place with a bar and just a few tables. Their Chicago Restaurant Week dinner menu for $33 offered five courses including vegetarian and vegan option
An excellent find in terms of food and ambience. They have quite a lot of warm and cold small plates. Good collection of drinks, as well as desserts. Although the space is pretty small, and accommodates a small crowd, the food is excellent. The service is good, and fast. Highly recommended to reserv
Everything here was FANTASTIC. Amazing vegan options. The staff was also extremely knowledgeable and friendly and made the experience fun and lighthearted. The atmosphere is also great -- very small and intimate but not quiet and awkward at all. Great for conversation with friends or a date.
Meat-free but delicious none the less, I was in a party of six so we ended up sampling most of the food menu and everything was great. It is a bit pricey but alcohol does drive the price up. Personally, the Mana Sliders were my favorite
Fantastic staff, the food was vegetarian and delicious. Very filling. Noise levels made it a bit hard to hear but I was enjoying my food too much to listen anyways.
Five years ago, I would have rated this restaurant 5 stars. The food was delicious, the ambience was great, and the staff were very attentive. In the 5 years since I first visited, I have noticed that I enjoyed fewer and fewer items on the menu. I recently visited this past weekend, and I was only r
Mana is a great restaurant with a nice patio. I love that their menu has helpful notations for gluten-free and vegan. I highly recommend the spicy tofu, their homemade pickles, and their juices. Really, I've enjoyed everything I've had here (been multiple times). At times their host stand and wait s
Consistently over many years this has been the best vegetarian restaurant in Chicago. I've been here so often I almost know the menu by heart, which can be a curse because the menu does not change that much and sometimes leaves me wanting something different, but I keep coming back. I went here wi
I am a carnivore, pure and simple. I love meat but didn't even miss it at this fabulous West Town spot. The atmosphere is great, very chill and a bit rustic. The service was amazing, our server really knew his stuff and was friendly without bearing annoying or overbearing. And the food, wow. I didn'
Mana is great on so many different levels. The seating area outside is perfect for dinners in the summer. I've only had the slushy cocktail but I would definitely recommend it! The food was very good too, perhaps a slightly too salty at times but if anything's wrong they change your plate. I liked
This is by far one of the best vegetarian places. My boyfriend and I described this place as a vegetarian optional tapas place. Optional because you can pick from size small or large. Everything we ordered here was amazing, one of the dishes that really stood out was the slider- best veggie burger
A little to quite for me. Even the server was almost whispering, but very nice and helpful. But the 2 items we had were delicious. We had the beets, and the sesame noodles, and would go back for that alone. I am not vegan, but didn't miss the meat. After that and a round of drinks we left for a pla
I'm not a vegetarian but my 20yo daughter is and she just started school so this was a treat for her. I had the hummus appetizer and corn on the cob for dinner. Hot damn it was good! Perfect hummus. It is obviously made in the kitchen as it is, for lack of a better word, fluffy? It's fresh and not
I've gotta say. The sliders deal, from 4pm-6pm for a beer and two sliders, may be the very best deal any vegetarian can find anywhere. I eat meat, religiously, and these sliders, were probably some of the best I've ever had and did not have me desiring any meat. If were to judge this place simpl
Vegetarian isn't usually my go-to, but I will dream about the Beet Salad here until I go back and have it again, because it was delicious. I wasn't disappointed by anything we ordered. Between two of us we had the Beet Salad, Sesame Noodle (I never wanted to stop eating this), Gyoza, Saag Paneer, an
All the vegan feels and more. We lucked out and had access to the hand roll menu. Get the kale salad, the Brussels and the dumplings are delicious. Everything is super fresh and made right to order.
This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Chicago. As a vegetarian, I am always looking for a great place to eat where I have more than 2 options. Mana does not disappoint. From the drinks to the goat cheese appetizer to the potstickers, everything is prepared perfectly!
If you are a vegan or vegetation this place is great! Even if you are a meat eater like myself you will not be disappointed in what they have to offer. The space is very small, so you should make a reservation. The fresh juice they make are excellent.
