Santorini has a lovely ambiance, friendly staff, and decent food. We're picky about sea food and we enjoyed it, but weren't blown away. The grilled octopus was lovely. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the fish I ordered would be crusted, but I was able to pull out enough fish to enjoy it. I've recently begun a gluten-free diet, so I'm still figuring it out. The flavor was good, if a little salty. My husband's fish was better. The side order of dandelion greens wasn't lightly wilted, instead it was a huge mound of sodden greens. I'm sure if we figured out the right items to order we would enjoy going back.

Great food, excellent service, awesome prices. We had the swordfish kabobs and sampler, along with the flaming cheese. We would recommend all of it. We could not finish everything, very nice sized portions. All in all our check was less than $50.

Unique dining experience, quick on service. Ordered Chicken Santorini (marinated chicken cooked with marinara sauce served with pilaf) and Greek fries. Suitable for dining with friends and family on weekends. Exceptional on taste and ambience, friendly staff.

Great experience on dine in , great service, food just fantastic, we have a group of friends celebrating birthday , our experience was great definitely we will comeback easy access from blue line train station, just in case you don't wanna drive down town, very recommend place , we enjoy the visit

Food was well seasoned and priced for the most part, although my seafood platter was definitely on the bland side. I'd recommend the octopus, and calamari.
Their wine selection is quite good. There are Greek wines in white, red and rosé. They also have some mixed drinks but I didn't try those.

One of my favorite restaurants in town. The place has been here forever and the food is very good. The saganaki is always awesome and my personal favorite is Shrimp Santorini. Never had a bad meal here and highly recommend Santorini when you visit Greektown.

Santorini offers their customers very attentive service and excellent food and ambiance. I decided to treat myself this afternoon and was instantly comfortable with the relaxing and charming outside seating area with proper coverage just in case it rained. The staff here is very friendly and efficient working as a team to make sure you have enough bread, water and questions answered. I ordered a gyros platter and now I have enough leftovers for another meal for tomorrow and enough Lamb meat for my two pets to enjoy as a treat. Portions here are extremely generous and the meat was juicy and very clean tasting, seasoned just right and not too salty. I enjoyed relaxing here this afternoon and will definitely return in the near future to try their octopus and other seafood options.

Like many, we think health security is about as importance as the food at this point. We were not disappointed. We checked earlier and they assured us they adhered to the protocols, and they did. We felt very comfortable, and the service and food was good as always. Their Santorini Shrimp might sound like a tourist come-on, but I loved it - clearly fresh huge shrimp and a cheese sauce. And although wine purists might scoff, a bottle of chilled roditis wine goes perfectly on a hot summer night.

Can't wait to return. Dozens more menu items I had trouble deciding on. The Sunday special, called BBQ Lamb, was actually a slow roasted, fall off the bone, succulent shank that I might have overlooked if not for the waiter's suggestion. Enticing fish selection too. They all sounded good. We tried a few different wines by the glass that were suggested too and everyone enjoyed. Wish we could remember our waiter's name. He was especially personable and helpful.

A nice Greek restaurant focused on seafood. The service was very good. The appetizers and entrees we good. The ambiance was average, although very acceptable. There are some entrees that are very affordable for a nice night out, but some will set you back a bit more. In general a very nice place to spend an evening.

We ordered the cheese flambe entree, the valley salad and had the kalamari. ~$50 usd for 2 people, including tips.
We really liked it and recommend! Will be coming back for more.

I’ve eaten at Santorini for over 10 years & the staff have always been attentive & eager to please. I’ve taken clients here as well as brought family, close friends & dates to Santorini and recommend the place highly. In fact, I had lunch there yesterday & it was superb. Both the Maitre d’ & the waiter were & have always been very attentive & polite. Santorini has the coziest ambiance of the Greektown restaurants, especially in the eves seated by the fireplace. The bread yesterday was warm, crusty & soft and brought immediately after placing our order. Santorini has a homey, pleasant, slightly off the grid, family run atmosphere - which is an appeal! The food is & has always been delicious each time I’ve eaten there. The gyro yesterday were delicious as was the sausage appetizer - the plates were full. Santorini does both Greektown & Chicago proud!

Unfortunately my review today will not be glowing with praise as I wish it could be. Let me start by saying I have loved this restaurant in the past. It is a place where I come to eat with my family when I come to visit and usually enjoyable and on par with that of fine cuisine at a Michelin star restaurant. Sadly, that was not the case this evening. Our waiter was either having a horrendous night...or just had a plain old aggressive, poor attitude. It started with our flambé cheese being placed on the table and not separated into pieces per usual (and let's keep in mind this did not bother us until after his poor attitude later). Flash forward our main courses come out after cheese, salad, and wine...seconds after they are set down our waiter asks how things are...we provide the generic it's good response and that is the last we see of him until he believes we are ready for the check. The meals were great except for one...and that one lamb meal happened to be unacceptable. Long story short we mentioned it to the waiter and instead of being polite he immediately became aggressive "why didn't you tell me" "all I can do is give you a small take home portion"no apology no nothing. The man didn't even check on us except for once after the food was set down. We ended up getting the manager and he kindly and swiftly took care of things...then when we received our check we asked for a quick breakdown and again he responded with aggression and attitude "WHAT DO YOU WANT..this is this" and of course our waiter didn't let us leave without one little last sly comment. In the future please choose your words better and turn the aggression and defensiveness down about 10 levels please. I will still return but I will not accept a table with this waiter.

Santorinis is the best Greek restaurant in Chicago, which is saying a lot, as Chicago's Greektown has several excellent restaurants. The house specialty is its fantastic fish and seafood offerings. If you have never tried grilled octopus, try Santorinis,' you will thank me for the suggestion.
