My recent visit to Artopolis Bakery, Cafe & Agora left me thoroughly impressed, and I couldn't wait to share my wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly baked goods and the warm ambiance of the cafe. It's truly a hidden gem that offers a blend of bakery delights, cozy cafe vibes, and a unique Agora concept. The bakery selection is a heaven for pastry lovers. The array of fresh bread, pastries, and treats was a feast for the eyes. I couldn't resist trying a variety of items, and each one was a testament to the craftsmanship of the bakers. From flaky croissants to decadent cakes, everything was made with attention to detail and a genuine passion for baking. I ordered Le Symphony a chocolate cake with dark chocolate mousse. The marriage of the velvety chocolate cake with the rich dark chocolate mousse was nothing short of a masterpiece. The chocolate cake, soft and moist, laid the foundation for this culinary masterpiece. Its delicate texture provided the perfect contrast to the boldness of the dark chocolate mousse that graced its layers. As I savored each bite, I was treated to a symphony of flavors that danced between the sweetness of the cake and the luxurious depth of the dark chocolate. "Le Symphony" was not just a pastry; it was an experience that showcased the artistry of pastry-making. The attention to detail and the evident passion that went into crafting this dessert were truly commendable. It's a dessert that can elevate any occasion, from a quiet morning treat to a grand celebration. My visit was a treat for the senses, with the sights, smells, and flavors creating a memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delightful culinary and cultural journey.
This quaint little restaurant is full of surprises. It is mostly a bakery/coffee bar. The colorful interior makes the place feel welcoming. With many selections of sweets and treats, it will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth. It has additional upstairs seating for a quiet retreat. The chocolate mousse and Chai tea is excellent; highly recommended. The barista knows what he's doing.
SUCH - cute spot! Large with plenty of seating to grab some food and do some work. Excellent pastries and large selection. Artopita was excellent and fun to try!
We've loved Artopolis for years, and when we got married we knew we had to buy our cake from them! The strawberry shortcake sheet cakes that we purchased were a huge hit with our families and guests. My only wedding regret is that I only had time for one piece!
I still can't find the better place for mango mousse cake after many years! This is the place you shouldn't miss if you come visit Greek town. I love the atmosphere of the cafe as well
One of the best places in entire Chicago!
Food is quite European and just tasty amazing and good quality.
Coffee is probably the best in entire Chicago.
Deserts are authentic and tasty!
Goods sell inside are amazing!
Atmosphere is so good :) It’s my favorite place for weekends !
This place is the real deal. Wow we were thrilled with the dessert here. Made with love. Friendly staff and perfect for a quick coffee with friends. Treat yourself to something sweet. Grab abox of these delectable desserts to share, or give the as a hostess gift. This is one place that is a real treat to go to.
Super impressed with espressos (I had the Freddo Espresso, my wife had the Freddo Cappuccino), food (I had a beef and lamb gyro, my wife had the Artos Caprese sandwich and a Greek Salad), and baking (we shared the berry cheesecake). All the portions were generous. Loved the decor and the staff were friendly. So worth the trip to Greektown!
Got the barista special espresso, literally the best I have ever had. The Royal White Chocolate is so amazing, not too sweet but demonstrate the rich flavor of white chocolate. Paring with the espresso, really made my day!
I had a good experience in this place. My order was simple: a cup of cappuccino (my go-to coffee drink) and a slice of almond baklava. The coffee was good. I watched the barista making it and was happy about some simple latte art. The almond baklava's been drenched with honey and full of nuts.
Also, the cafe is very spacious and lovely.
However, the system is a bit weird. I made the order in one place but had to pick up my coffee at the bar. Not a problem, but I'm glad I've asked, otherwise I'd be waiting for my drink, and it won't ever arrive.
