Elephant & Castle - Chicago - Photo album

Fun spot for some English pub vibes with an American twist. Wouldn’t call it a dive bar. Menu has plenty of British pub staples, with the bangers and mash and pies being especially tasty. Draft beer options are pretty strong, with an emphasis on Midwest craft. Obviously touristy but would still retu
Nice pub in Chicago. The portions are massive for the price. And the quality and taste is also so worth the price. I got the chicken pot pie with a side of poutine, the fish and chips, and buffalo wings. The pot pie was delicious (a little soupy, but very homey). The poutine was also pretty good, cr
It felt so good to sit by the fireplace.....my sister wanted the fried pickles. Good customer service....we went on Halloween and it was the first time I seen it not crowded. It felt like we had walked into London for a moment.
Amazing service and food. Got there around 10:30, got seated instantly, food was served shortly after ordering, and server was super kind and took good care of us. I got the greek yogurt parfait with a side of breakfast potatoes, around $15 total, my mom got the french toast which was around $10
I went here with a group of friends and had a great time. The bar table was a little tight for 4 adults but the service and tasty food made up for the squeeze. Overall it was exactly what we were looking for in a pub late at night in Chicago - friendly servers, good food, not so loud you can't carry
How many restaurants can meet the dietary needs of a heavily keto diet, a primarily fish-focused carnivore, and two vegetarians with different tastes? Not many ~ and this place excels at it! My husband loved the Cheesy Leek and Potato Pie. Generous serving with a fresh salad too. I enjoyed the Fal
We had a great lunch today! Awesome fish n' chips and sheppard's pie. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!
We had a terrific time at this pub. The food was delicious and we had a great service. The cheese toasties are yummy. And the gravy coming with the mashed potatoes is finger-licking good. The drink called "penicillin" is a must for Scotch lovers. I would recommend this restaurant anytime.
The pie flight is adorable and delicious — great if you can't decide what you're after! The chicken pot pie was my favorite of the bunch, but all four varieties were great. I also enjoyed the onion and ale soup. My server Grace was a delight and made me feel at home as a solo diner. Good, lively atm
Delicious pub food! Nice atmosphere, our table was right next to the window and we were able to people watch on a busy Saturday!
The menu has a whole host of items so it’s a great spot for groups, even picky eaters. Fun fact from our waitress. This is a Canadian company and yet the menu screams London! The fish and chips are a tasty choice and the slum dog is something unique and a great way to try a chi go dog. and it was d
Casual laid back British pub with variety of eats/drinks. We were simply here for dessert, namely their bread pudding-which they are well known for. It was a heavenly treat & pairs nicely with Irish coffee.
Great place to grab a drink and late night food in the north area of the central loop. Most food options close around 9 pm or 10 pm. The server was really nice
We stopped in as we were walking back to our hotel and met Mauricio. He was very welcoming and introduced us to some local beers and desserts. The atmosphere was very warm and festive and we wish we had come by earlier. Thank you, sir, for a wonderful experience. We’ll be back.
Came in just for dessert had a great time. Server was prompt and had fantastic conversation skills. I was just visiting and she was a great tour guide.
For bar food, it rates 5 stars. Service and atmosphere were all we could ask for as well. We were seated within about 15 minutes of a Friday night walk-in at 6:15pm. The fish and chips was top-notch and the Manta's Butter Chicken was a great find as well. When traveling with kids, it's a struggle to
One of the best affordable eat restaurant in downtown Chicago. Our experience here has always been great. Recently, the restaurant was very busy, the wait time were were told were 45 mins, we were starving, we went to check if the table was ready after 20 minutes and we were offered a table even tho
