Wollensky's Grill - Chicago - Photo album

My wife and I chose to eat here for our dinner celebrating my birthday. I ordered the Wagyu NY Strip and my wife had the Chilean Sea Bass. The ambiance of the place was excellent. The wind off of the water was perfect and while there were many diners, it didn’t feel crowded. The Wagyu steak was quit
The service was great. However, my steak was a bit overcooked. I would definitely recommend Wollenskys and I would eat there again...amazing appetizers.
Best burger ever! French fries which go with it are just so-so (very dry and hard), but the burger itself is perfect! Burger is $16, steak is $42. It was also great. Nice atmosphere and view. You can see boats and kayaks going by really close.
Great service and great view. Seated by the window overlooking the river. Celebrated anniversary here with 1 hr booking in advance. Server was great and we got a cake at the end of service. You can order food from Smith and Wollensky but they have their own menu which is more affordable. Steak is ok
Really nice place to go. The food is very good, the lake canal view is amazing and the waiters are very kind. I liked a lot.

Steak was tasty but didn't recieve the generous portion of fries that menu stated. Then got dessert and that chocolate cake? IT. IS
We visited Wolensky's on 30th August for dinner. The food and service were probably the best we have ever experienced. Our waiter went above and beyond and made our visit a fantastic experience. The bread starter alone is worth the visit and the WAGYU NY STRIP is on another level.
Casual dinning with great views of the Chicago River. Food was good but when crowded can be noisy. Steaks, good appetizers and fabulous desserts. Service was fine but not amazing. Buttermilk Onion Rings seemed like a good idea, but the onions were tough. Valet parking available.
To say that the food was amazing is an understatement. To say it was the best steak I've ever had still doesn't do it justice. To say our waiter was the most knowledgeable waiter I've ever had, would fall short. This is a place where the food is the experience. It is one of those meals that I wo
