Osteria La Madia - Chicago - Photo album

This was a nice sport in a convenient location. I awaited my friends at the bar where service was friendly. They have a weekly wine special, which I ordered and it was nice. They were honest about recommendations between menu items. We were then seated. I had a butter lettuce salad that was very go
Amazing pizza and salads. Its good for 2 people or with a group. I have hosted a work event in their semi-private room and it was awesome. The staff was attentive and helpful in picking out the right amount of food. I tend to crave the 3 hour aged grape pizza. Great spot.
Probably my favorite place for sit-down pizza in the city. My two favorites have to be the seasoned wild mushroom with smoked mozzarella and the triple pepperoni. But I have yet to have any I haven't loved right down to the roasted grapes. Great wines and salads to make your meal complete!
I honestly cannot believe I didn't find out about La Madia until recently. They make some amazing Italian dishes without the flow of grease that you often get in Italian dishes at non-top-notch locales. Ambience: Classy but casual - you can sit at the pizza counter or the dining room. Service: O
This is a good, thin crust pizza place. They have different options you don't see everywhere, like a grape & tallegio pizza that's really good. We went for my bachelorette party and they were really easy to work with. They helped us set up a set menu, and even printed out special menus for us.
Great brick oven pizza with red and white pizzas and a little known secret: they have a late night menu Sunday - Thursday 9 pm - Close! You get 1 Salad, 1 Pizza for $20. I also like La Madia for lunch because everyone likes salad, pizza and $5 wine! Great spot on a week day or night! Love the Honey
I have finally made it here. After three years of wanting to come, but always passing it up, I MADE IT! I love OpenTable for reservations. I dont know why, but I just love clicking a button online and poof, its done. The food was pretty good. Mozzarella brushetta and the spinach fondue was amaz
La Madia is my favorite pizza place in Chicagoland. Keep in mind, I'm quite the pizza lover, so that's quite a statement. If it was socially and dietarily acceptable, I'd probably eat pizza as part of every meal. Anywho, back to La Madia. Every person I've recommended the place to or brought the
If Chicago deep dish just sounds like a food coma - go with this AMAZING neopolitan style pizza place. I love the Spinach Fondue also - an amazing appetizer! Great for wine as well.
Wow, Bruschette w/ mozzarella, tomatoes and balsamic was amazing! The ambiance and music work, a little construction next door, but still worth the trip. Good service, just took a bit once it started getting busy.
We're pretty particular about our Italian food, and I must say these wood-oven thin pizzas are the best we've had in the US. The one with Parma ham should not be ignored. The pasta was good too, perhaps a tad bit too salty, and of course way more ragù than an Italian would prefer, but delicious.
Pretty good food. But the portion is quite small. I ordered a pizza and 2 apps for 2, feel like I haven't really ate anything after the dinner is over. Nice place for a date I would say.
We love La Madia! When we moved to Chicago 3 years ago, we searched for a great pizza place... we found it at La Madia! Also a great wine list, great service and open during construction! See you there every Friday night!
My wife and I love this place! We live in Michigan and try to come here every year on our anniversary for a special dinner. We love the thin crust triple pepperoni pizza!!
Elegant pizza in River North Chicago is famous for pizza, so the competition is fierce. La Madia is one of the best, however. It's thin-crust, with fresh toppings, and a smoky brick oven taste. Their bar is crowded after work, probably due to the free pizza which is available before 7. A friend and
