The Grillroom Chophouse & Wine Bar - Chicago - Photo album

Our server, Alex, really lacked social skills. He did not make conversation, respond to "Thank You" or interact with us at all other than to take our order and drop off our food. He never told us about any dinner specials, and we had already ordered when we overheard a nearby server explaining the
Wow! Beet salad was excellent. Brussels sprouts were as good as I have ever had. Marvin the bartender, has a perfect Chicago pour-on martini.
Perfect place to grab a bite before heading to the theater across the street. Staff was very attentive and pleasant. Food was just what the doctor ordered, the oysters Rockefeller and lamb chops are a must. Dirty martinis weren't to shabby either.
First visit. Food was terrific. Great service too
I have eaten here multiple times. The food is always delicious. The service is impeccable. I can’t say enough nice things about how wonderful this restaurant is. When your dining inside the music is fabulous, the atmosphere is amazing. The decor is beautiful. It’s elegant while still comfortable. Th
My girlfriend and came here to celebrate getting new jobs. Excellent choice. The staff out friendly, respectable, professional. The atmosphere is on point good music, good lighting. The food is great. If you like white wine try the Riesling. I had the steak salad. Very nice.
The place is right infront of Hampton Inn Hotel. So, it made it very easy for guests to find this place . I am satisfied with the entrée I’ve ordered . Pork chop grill 10/10- tasty, soft and flavorful. It comes with smash potatoes and green beans which is crunchy and good . The servers are so nice
I've been here twice now and both times were absolutely phenomenal. Their food is great (recommend the seafood gumbo to anyone!) and their service is top-tier. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is great. The waiters even gave me a slice of key lime pie for my birthday! Overall, nothin
Sausage and Peppers are fantastic. They bask in a cayenne pepper sauce. The pasta is good and the filet migon is very tender and tasty. Worth a try if your in the area.
Really great steak. Cooked to perfection. The shrimp was good, but probably won't get them again. Fantastic Brussels sprouts too. Only negative was our waiter checked up on us once and then we didn't see him again until we asked for the check. Not to ask us about dessert, not to see if we wante
We went in a workgroup on a Monday night. It was pretty empty for our 5:30 dinner reservation for 9 people. It was nice and quiet so that we didn't need to shout to be heard from one end of the table to the other. The food was EXCELLENT! Everyone said the same thing about their food. The waiter was
We chose dinner here randomly while visiting in Chicago. One of the best dinners we've had in awhile. Shared the Ahi Tuna and the chargrilled kebobs (at the recommendation of Gregory). We had a great time, the food was so delicious and well seasoned, and the service was spectacular. Definitely visit
This is my first time trying their lunch options and it didn't disappoint at all. I order the smoked chicken wrap for pickup, it was hot and ready when I walked in. The bartender was professional and nice. The wrap was so good, I would recommend it to anyone in walking distance.
Excellent experience from start to finish. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious. My friend and I both got the filet and lobster and both were perfectly prepared and very flavorful. Our server was attentive and friendly. We were both surprised that it wasn’t busier than it was. Perfec
Amazing beef. Perfectly cooked. Seasoned nicely. Has option for inside or outside dining. Highly recommend!
I ate at the bar. Had great service and the food was delicious. On the expensive side and tap beer was not working. The restaurant looked good, however could be improved based on prices.
First things first: You’ve got to try the seafood gumbo. The roux is dark and gives the gumbo an ideal smooth texture as it thickens, and adds a wonderfully nutty aroma. The seafood stock is earthy and melded into the roux very well. The peppers add just a l’il kick. For our visit this evening, our
Expensive steak place. Good happy hour drink specials. Across from CBIC theater. Small bathrooms. Fast service.
