We could not be more happy with our experience. All the food is cooked to perfection and flavors that will leave you with your fancy tickled. We had a birthday and they even printed out a menu with his name on top of the menu. Totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a fresh fine dining experience.

There was artistry in everything; the building, the room, and the food. The ingredients were so good; even the salad wowed. In each dish, there were flavor combinations I never considered before that surprised and delighted me.

North Pond is by far one of the best restaurants in the City. Not only is the food delicious, it's also incredibly and artistically prepared and presented. The service, setting and ambiance is second to none. Our most favorite spot to celebrate and the best brunch in Chicago!!

I loved the food and also the location . I will definitely return to this restaurant with the lovely view of the north pond. I do suggest that they play softer music plus the fact that the hostess was not very accommodating in giving us a window seat in spite of having made the reservation a month in advance and requesting it 1/2 an hour before being seated.

From the moment we walked through the door and met Natalie we loved our experience. The place is so cozy with a roaring fire while the first snow of the season began to fall. The meal was delicious...don't skip the pheasant! And Jackie was an outstanding server. I would be remiss if I did not mention that they customized the menu with our names and Happy Anniversary which was also totally unexpected. Can't wait to return to Chicago so we can share a meal here again.

A truly exceptional dining experience. The best-kept secret in Chicago cuisine. I'm sorry it took me so long to get here but it won't take me nearly as long to return. Amazing and great attention to every detail. A splurge but worth saving up for a special night out.

Probably the most memorable resturant we have been to in 2017. Not only was the food and wine simply amazing but the service was out of this world! I hope I will be able to get back soon and continue to experience their amazingness.

Simply the most delicious food. We were taken to North Pond on Easter Sunday by some of our favourite friends whose son works in the kitchen. We had the most wonderful meal in great surroundings and given the most incredible service. The food was truly delicious with all kinds of wonderful Spring flavours being used in the dishes which made for a very seasonal experience. If you're thinking of going to North Pond then stop thinking and start making that reservation!

A special restaurant in a special location (Lincoln Park) in a special city (Chicago)! Like stepping through a curtain in time and finding your self in the "Craftsman" period.

North Pond restaurant is the perfect spot for a romantic date night, but be sure to make advance reservations to secure your table. We were impressed by the beautifully presented three-course meals, each dish a work of art in itself. The food was not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant is delightful, and its location in the heart of Lincoln Park adds to its charm. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place to others. It's worth noting that the prices are on the higher side, with a minimum cost of approximately $150 per person for dinner. Make sure u plan for parking which would take another 15 mins

An excellent experience. Went into North Pond for a dual birthday celebration and the attention to detail was superb. The flavors in the dishes were explosive, complicated, and cohesive. The atmosphere was cozy without trying to hard to be cool or edgy, which can often be the case at higher-end dining establishments. I would certainly recommend North Pond!

Visited for our wedding anniversary. It was where we had our first date in 2001. The restaurant used to be à la carte. They now feature a 4 course taking menu. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted and the woman at the host stand was nice enough to snap a couple photos. The restaurant overlooks a pond and beyond the pond is the Chicago skyline. Our server, Jeff was professional, friendly and attentive. I ordered a classic old fashioned which was delicious. The amuse bouche was impressive. All the courses were well-paced, unique and bursting with flavor. They grow many of their ingredients on their rooftop garden Overall, I'd say our return after many years exceeded my expectations. There is free parking on Cannon Drive.

Great autumn menu. Love that you have choices for each course, and is great for a group of friends. The price is one of the more reasonable of the tasting menus and the service is second to none. You also can’t beat the atmosphere - cozy and beautiful view of the chicago skyline. The wine pairing is definitely worth it and made the experience even more enjoyable. Chef was also accommodating of a gluten allergy for one of our guests!

What more can you say that the Michelin star doesn't already say? We came here for brunch which was $59pp, and well worth the experience. The food, service and experience was 100% whar we expected. This is a mut go to place if you are in the area.

Absolutely delicious! We went for our anniversary and were treated to some lovely cookies at the end of the meal with a nice greeting in chocolate. Our sever was knowledgeable and fun with the wine pairings and each course was memorable and unique. The elk was melt in your mouth and the cheese plate that had local honey from their rooftop hives- you can’t get much more local than that! Good views of the park and pond, very cozy atmosphere. I’d love to come back and try all their seasonal offerings.

One of my favorite restaurants. I always look forward to consistently great food and service at north pond. The restaurant itself is very charming and situated in an oasis of nature in the middle of the city. The brunch is also phenomenal value. The service is great and unpretentious. I’ve been coming to north pond for about ten years now, and I’ll continue to visit north pond at least a few times a year indefinitely.

Decided to take my girlfriend here to propose and it turned out to be the most beautiful and amazing dinner! The service was top notch and the food was so unique and delicious! The atmosphere is very Irish/Scottish vibe to it and it turned out to be the most perfect choice for the occasion. Ryan was our server and he was sharp and all the other staff were very accommodating and helpful. Will be back with the whole family soon! Thank you all for a great experience 🙏🙏 Very grateful

Hidden gem (literally and figuratively), with exquisite staff and food. Very welcoming and accommodating. Extremely organized. Don't bother calling; make the reservation online and let the process work. You will be impressed, I promise. Do not drive; there is no parking. To clarify, this is a restaurant in the middle of the park. The amazing part is, you have to walk through the park in order to find the restaurant. It is like searching for the hidden gem. Really! Quite the sophisticated menu for regular people like us, but we very much enjoyed the food and every moment we spent there. Very good bang for the buck on all levels. If you plan a special evening with your special one, this is the place to be. Simply, enjoy!

This was my first experience at a Michelin Star restaurant and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was very nice and the restaurant is located in a beautiful park setting. The service we received was top notch from the moment we stepped inside. Our server(s) were all very well versed in the menu and seemed enthusiastic about the dining experience they were providing. The tasting menu was a clear step above anything else I have experienced. Each course was beautifully presented and the flavours were complex and well constructed. It would be hard to pick a favourite but the lamb and dates plate was amazing. The chef treated us to an extra amuse bouche as well as a fermented fruit drink that were both unexpected and very enjoyable! We were there late and as the dining room was quieting down, Chef Cesar offered to take us up to see the garden and the beehives that are kept on the roof - we enjoyed the opportunity to thank him personally for such a great experience and to see where some of the amazing meal came from. We even got to sample some of the edible flowers and other treats. (the honey they make is delicious with a very unique floral flavour - try the cheese plate to get a nice taste of it). I cannot imagine any way they could have improved on the evening's experience. Next time I visit Chicago, I hope to go back for another great evening!

First, the service was amazing. Extremely professional and well above and beyond a typical dining experience. The plating and presentation of the food was exquisite. We had huge smiles on our faces just watching the dishes arrive. And the flavors were complex and novel. I tasted combinations I've never tasted before, and they were enlightening. Highly recommend treating yourself to this experience if you can.

Great service and decent food! The ambiance is even better. Located inside Lincoln Park/nature museum area. Next to the real “north pond”. Perfect place for brunch. Three course menu with $49 per person.

Truly the most amazing dining experience I’ve ever had. Called last minute after getting engaged to my fiancé on a night they were booked completely, and they not only graciously accommodated us, but went above and beyond any experience I’ve ever had as far as service is concerned. They made us feel so special, and every single course on the menu was absolutely stunning. The wine pairing was so interesting and perfectly curated. The atmosphere was unbelievably romantic and the decor/views were immaculate. If you are celebrating anything in Chicago, I can’t recommend any restaurant more highly than this one. One of a kind, 10/10.

A wonderful night and an excellent dining experience. Three of us came here to celebrate a birthday, and we all ordered from the tasting menu. I am glad that they gave you different choices of each course. So we picked different ones on the menu. Impeccable taste, excellent presentation, superb services. They hit out of the park. I am always puzzled by how the Michelin food judges pick stars. Many Michelin stared restaurants I dined are just mediocre. But this one really deserves the star, if not more. Great job North Pond.

TBH I was skeptical about visiting this restaurant given limited reviews on google maps and their limited social media presence. I was completely wrong. Their flavours are hands down the best. Each and every course was uniquely tasty. Presentation was on point. Service was top right from check-in to paying the check. They serve a course menu for Sunday brunch. We ordered beets, mushrooms grits, beef and potato, lamb neck and sweet potato, chocolate lime and pamplemouse dessert. To add on top, Christofle hotel cutlery (~$150 for a piece of knife) ensures the quality they provide to their customers. Their consistent Michelin Stars from past 3 years are worthy. The brunch was definitely a value for money and we can’t wait to be back for dinner this time.. 😊

Cozy, classy, indulgent, decadent, surprisingly well-priced. Went here for our 1 year anniversary and had the full menu and wine pairing. I had the veggie options. The menu is seasonal and we went in the fall, so it was full of warm, nut, squash, apple, rich flavors. The service was phenomenal, as was the space. Honestly going here was such an experience - each plate was full of developing flavors and textures. We had a reservation a handful of weeks prior to our anniversary and they even decorated a plate for us and wrote happy anniversary on our menus. We also enjoyed looking at the skyline and wandering the park after our delicious meal. Highly recommend!
