Glenn's Diner is one of my favorite seafood restaurants. The fish is fresh and the menu is wonderful. There are plenty of savory fresh fish dishes. I had the artic char, ceasar salad and seafood cioppino. If you are a seafood lover, you'll love Glenn's.
Lovely place! They've got breakfast, sandwiches, salads, burgers, omlettes, and seafood entrees. This place is a great find. Went for brunch and had a simple omlette, but will return for some seafood. Gets filled rather quickly, you can make reservations.
This is a great place to eat. The food is awesome. The wait staff is very knowledgeable of what specials and all food and drinks. I would suggest this place to anyone who is in town for work or vacation. You will love the food. We will be stopping back by when we come to town for work.
Fantastic fish! Great diner atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Be sure to have the best key lime pie ever for dessert!
I went Uptown for a get together with my Wife's workmates, probably 80 miles there & back. It was worth it ! The Food was Very Good and reasonable.

As a resident of Lakeview, I was looking for a seafood restaurant in the northern neighborhoods and came across Glenns Diner on Yelp. What a great surprise! It's small yet intimate, but not trendy or pretentious.
My wife and I started out with the "Coconut Me Shrimpeez" which was lightly fried with a sweet marmalade dipping sauce. I actually preferred skipping the dipping sauce (bc it was too sweet) and instead shower the coconut shrimp in Louisiana hot sauce - but that's just me. Next I ordered the Blackened Barramundi which came with sauteed potatoes and steamed broccoli. It was my first experience eating Barramundi fish and I wasn't disappointed, it was light and flaky. I highly recommend this Australian fish. My wife had the Cioppino, a light soupy and spicy broth with a nice assortment of fish. It was a very large dish, which we took home - Lunch!
Overall the service was good, mostly knowledgeable with the chalkboard menu and not too pushy if you wish to hangout and socialize well past your meal. If you are in the area and desire seafood, Glenns Diner is a must.
They are also BYOB. There is a liquor store next door that sells wine, liquor, and beer. They do charge a $4 corking fee per bottle.
Very cool place with some great food! Even if you don't like sea food, you can get some great things with amazing service! Nothing on them but with the El right there patio gets loud.
The food was very tasty. Wide selection of seafood dishes. I enjoyed the Seafood bisque fettuccine. Generous portions.
Great food!! Awesome service and a perfect summer evening. I love s good crab cake. Oh, get a dark and stormy to wash it all down!
The mussels were very good and well worth it. The bread is great for sopping up the delicious juices. The salmon the was average and kind of disappointing for the price. Perhaps the other fish will be better

We got the calamari, mussels, spinach salad, seafood pot pie and the pork shank, everything was delicious, the server was very nice.
Took my father here for the first time for my wife's birthday. He loved the environment and the extensive selection of seafood in this unassuming diner. Great food and service.
Amazing seafood place, I had the walleye pretzel encrusted entree it was very good. Server is very nice as well

This place serves fresh and delicious fish but don't be fooled, they can also make some terrific breakfast, light blue and fluffy pancakes and perfectly cooked eggs. 🥞🍳
My family had breakfast on 3/25, great! Service was very good. Hector did a terrific job taking care of us. My wife and I returned that evening to try the fish. It was fantastic. She had the grilled swordfish and I the Halibut. We had Hector again. Another terrific meal and service with Hector. We highly recommend Glenn's Diner.
Enjoyed a great lunch at one of their outside tables. Delicious potato pancakes as a side to my 1/2 pound cheeseburger 🍔 😋 Was hoping for a 🦞 Lobster roll, but due to Covid slowing down delivery, it has been removed from menu. Remember you can have breakfast and dinner items anytime too.
