Wow! Best damn burger I’ve ever had!! Highly recommend this joint! I got the chorizo burger. The guacamole was amazing with a great kick, the chorizo and the patty balanced so well together, the aioli really finished it all. And the drink of the month - drunk love punch was simply awesome!

Great food. Great drinks. Our server Collin was bad ass. Dude was so laid back and so knowledgeable of all the food and drinks. If he wasn't working, we would have invited him to chill with us. I recommend. Will go back.
Went to the location just south of the Belmont redline stop. The #1 burger (with bison) was great. Really good bun. Great tasting bbq sauce on it. Staff was cool and good music playing. Good rotation of beer choices too.
Awesome staff, great food, best espresso shake in all of Chicago! Order the bison burger!

The burgers are excellent. Great mix of flavors and ingredients. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the Bison burger and shared Wisconsin cheddar fries and fried pickles and recommend everything I had!
Tried DMK'S because I saw it on triple D . Did not disappoint ! My husband is a chef and he really liked the bison burger . We brought family with us and they loved it too. Great fries....all of them ,Mac and cheese, party melt was great .
Only thing it was really very dark in there ,needed phones to read menus and the music was extremely loud which was hard for conversation. Otherwise next time any of us are back in town we will be back!

A friend recommended this place saying they had the best burgers, so I went on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch around 2 pm. We were told to sit anywhere and with plenty of room. It was not busy with one person working the whole room she did an amazing job. We didn't wait long after being seated, and since we were hungry, we ordered right away and again didn't wait long for the food. The burgers were cooked to perfection, and my friend and I shared a large order of the sweet potato fries. They give you a lot, and they are hands down the best sweet potato fries. The food and service were very good and I will come back again.
The Big DMK is out of this world. Not for the feint of appetite!! Better be hungry or ready to share! Super delicious. Wisconsin cheddar and scallions fries were outstanding. Writing this is making me hungry!!!
One of the best burgers! The parmesan fries were cooked/seasoned perfectly. The fried okra/pickles were a great combination as well.
A great place if you want a good burger. The tenders I had were perfect and the BBQ chorizo sauce made them taste amazing 🥰

Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! It has been quite some time since I dined here last and it was my first time trying something other than a burger (I don't recall there anything else besides just burgers!). Pictured here is theirs/Fish Bar's Lobster Roll with my option of a Side Salad. Current Market Price was $30, an ok-cost and cravings are hard to kick. Lobster was good, wish there was a bit more. The roll was perfectly and not overly buttered. Service was not so good. I put in a reservation at 6pm just in case for my Husband and I, and as I walk in, the first host/server tells me to "sit anywhere" and of course, that is what I did. A few minutes later, still not approached by any server and was not able to put in an order before Happy Hour ends, another server tells me to transfer seating to another area. The place was not busy and I understand that it was about to be half an hour later. I guess the servers should have communicated. Lack of staff or not, after eating and drinking (spotless dishes and glassware), we waited a bit to be approached by our server. Any server for that matter could have said "We'll be with you in a sec," and that would have gone a long way.
One of a kind, I’m so impressed with the quality of the burger here and how they are innovative with different types of burgers and fries. In love with the bison 💕💕💕. Amazing staff and outstanding ambience. This place just right for great food and gathering. The variety of drinks is really satisfying. This will not be my last time here 🥰🥰🥰
Always receive friendly,attentive & quick service every visit. I’ve been coming here since at least 2008 if not before. The burgers are all delicious. And their prices are a great value for the quality. Their boozy shakes are some of the best in Chicago. I usually get a peanut butter whiskey one. If you’re a fan of fried pickles & okra, theirs have a great crispy batter that isn’t greasy. Their truffle Parmesan fries as well as their sweet potato fries are also super tasty & some of the best in Chicago. I do miss their lamb burger, it’s been off their menu for years now, hope they bring it back some day.
If you’re in a hurry, their to-go orders can be ready in 10 min, or you can eat inside & get out in 30min. I’ve done that a couple of times. It’s also one of the few restaurants walking distance to Illinois Masonic Hospital.
I really wanted to try Fish Bar. The two restaurants, Burger Bar and Fish Bar, are connected. The waitress gave me both menus. I ordered Gumbo, which was true to New Orleans, fried shrimp, and a shrimp sandwich. They were all delicious. I've driven by a few times in the summer and saw a crowd of people eating outside. Now I know why - the experience (decor and service) is great and the food is delicious.
I've been to a lot of excellent burger places, and DMK definitely ranks among the best. The burger we had was exceptional and cooked to perfection, and the fries we had with it were also great. They have a nice selection of beers and wine, and the atmosphere is really laid back. If you're looking for a burger place in the Chicago area, this is a must try.
Super friendly staff and amazing food! Price was reasonable and they had also two menus. One for the burger place and one for the fish bar. I can only speak for the burger menu though. I legit drool at the fries which was the angry fries and the best thing Ive ever tasted. The lil dmk burger i got was just enough for me. Usually cant finish but was able to for this one and didnt feel horribly greasy after.
Whomever the young lady working 11.11.23 BY HERSELF is in need of a raise and all the praise. We didn't wait too long on anything, the orders came out right, and she wasn't the least bit visibly flustered.
My wife and I sincerely hope she gets more support on future shifts. Our server was amazing, that is all
Perfect food. Excellent service. Good burgers. But THE SWEET POTATOES FRIES WERE TO DIE FOR! You can get an egg for $1 on any burger 👌🏼 they usually have a different burger and shake special. Not sure if it’s weekly ? Clean space.
Always a great time, and great food. My favorite thing on the menu is the salmon burger. I know, they are known for grass fed beef burgers, which are excellent. But the salmon burger is so unique and delicious! They also make excellent martinis! Definitely love coming here.
Fries and Nachos were great. Will definitely have to come back to try the burgers.
Good burgers. Fantastic fries. The blue cheese and bacon fries blew me away and so did the cheddar fries. Waitress Zoe was super nice and helpful.
