We made reservations a few weeks ahead, and upon arriving were sat immediately. Service from Ryan was warm and unassuming. Good selection of craft beer on tap, some inspired brunch cocktails, and a selection of bombers, cans, and bottles. All of this in a cool, hip setting in the Pilsen area of Chicago. Food was superb. Wife got the French toast, and I went with a savory Thai inspired sausage sandwich. The beer paired along with it was a nice touch. All of this for 50 bucks including tip. Oh yeah, it's earned a Michelin star.

Thoughtful and creative food, great attentive service, and the always changing-best beer list in town. Downstairs at Punch House gets wild, they always have good music and I've never had a bad drink. Boom son!

One of our favorite places to enjoy an incredible dinner and local craft beer (they have an extensive collection on draft). The dining experience and staff are awesome. Farm-to-table style with a new menu rotating pretty often. A real gem in the Pilsen neighborhood.

Two words: grilled cheese. The staff was helpful and courteous, and the beer list was respectable. Definitely worth a visit!

The food and drinks were phenomenal. The hopbox cocktail was so good I had 2!! For dinner I had the garlic stuffed 1/2 chicken with asparagus risotto and my husband had the duck choucroute. Both were delicious!!

OMG, this is the absolute best burger I've ever had, ever! Done to perfection, the slaw adds a gentle acid with a touch of sweetness. For the first time ever, I've had a better burger than what I can make at home! This 'Smash Burger's is amazing! I also had fresh lemonade, made with sparkling water. So refreshing, so good! Highly recommend!

Solid spot to grab a quality meal before a show at Thalia Hall in the lovely neighborhood of Pilsen. Their oysters, mussels and confit duck leg were all really good other than the duck being a tad dry but nothing to complain about, still very good. Service was friendly, funky and professional. Cheers:)

Had an early dinner at the bar, wild mushroom ravioli was good but would have liked more flavor, friend had tie spinach dip in a bread “cup” and thought it was very good. Excellent local beer choices, cocktails looked good. Service attentive. Upscale tavern, downstairs restroom.

the food was very good. the chicken dish was excellently balanced with the greens and the sauce. the eggplant appetizer also had expert flavor balance, smoky and perfectly cooked. cocktails were also all excellently mixed and surprising. 4 stars because our waiter was consistently nowhere to be found and our dinners were served about 10 minutes apart, so my dates was getting cold while i was waiting for mine to be served. also, the portions for the dinners was odd — he got the pasta, and it came out in a smaller bowl, and my 1/2 chicken was a huge plate of food that would be more than enough for 2 people (i was sure they meant one of those small hens — but no, it was a full on half of a chicken (you can also get a whole chicken)) the real tip is that if you’re seeing a show at thalia hall you get a special side entrance from the restaurant and they’ll keep your leftovers boxed up in the fridge for you while you see the show so you don’t have to carry them around. that is a great touch of service.

Went for the tasting menu with my wife and we were blown away. Every course was absolutely delicious but the two which stole the show were the burrata to start and the duck for main - I could have eaten those two for the next week and still wanted more - very special indeed. Waitress was really friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

I have been to Dusek's a few times and each time it has been great! My favorite meal was the Chicago restaurant week menu that they served in 2022. Every dish we had was incredibly fresh and delicious. We had - Pate - Apple salad - Parppadelle - Beet Salad - Trout - Tempura Cauliflower - Rockfish - Kentucky Butter Cake - More things I forgot! Everything was great, but the hands down fan favorite was the Kentucky butter Cake. I am not a dessert person, but wow it was amazing. Everyone in our group thought so as well. We even debated ordering more and taking it home. This place is great if you want to get casual drinks, get together with friends, a date, or have a very nice meal. I would definitely recommend that people head over to Pilsen to check this place out.

We decided to have an early dinner at the bar, where I ordered the wild mushroom ravioli. While it was enjoyable, I felt that it could have had more flavor. On the other hand, my friend had the spinach dip served in a bread "cup" and found it to be delicious. The tavern offered an excellent selection of local beers, and the cocktails looked appealing as well. The service was attentive throughout our meal. Overall, it was an upscale tavern experience, and the restroom was located downstairs.

Great time! Love the atmosphere, server was top notch, and we got to Thalia without having to go out in the -10° weather again. We’ll have to come back for the garlic pull apart bread since it was sold out 🥲 and beef tartare. But can attest that the beet salad, burger and vermicelli were 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽.

I’ve been to Dusek’s several times and keep coming back for the insanely friendly waiters, the well priced drinks, and the ever-changing menu. We have been consistently impressed with the quality of the food. Highly recommend the marinated eggplant dish and the pork chop. If you grab an early dinner there’s usually no wait but the place does get quite busy later on.

I've been here many times - before a show, for dinner, or for brunch. The food is always excellent and creative, and the staff are very helpful. Case in point: I was afraid the cocktail I was interested in was too sweet. They brought out a small taste for me and adapted it to hit the spot. As a (mostly) vegetarian, I can often feel a little left behind at spots like this. I've never had that problem at Dusek's. From excellent salads, to cauliflower steak, to earthy mushroom ravioli, and many excellent bites in between, I've always been satisfied.

Just a wonderful place, the staff is so nice and the food never disappoints. Especially if you are seeing a show at the venue, there's no better place to have the perfect dinner before! Get the smashburger!!

Visiting from Missouri and stumbled across this restaurant when looking for places to dine. I’m glad we stopped here, the food was amazing! Better than anything I’ve tasted in my 21 years of living. I had the Duseks Sour drink and at first I was skeptical because I’m so used to an amaretto sour but it was delicious and definitely a must try!! Shoutout to our waiter Collin, he was a sweetheart, very attentive, welcoming and made sure my friend and I were comfortable and taken care of. Will definitely be coming back here whenever I’m in Chicago again. Also, the music they played was elite in my opinion, indie alternative and it was all songs I recognized from teen years; banger after banger!

Lovely evening at Dusek's celebrating my best girls birthday. Decent vegan and gluten options too! Good ambience and vibe! Super convenient for going to the show right next door afterwards.

Wonderful meal experience. I had the mushroom ravioli and it was very very good. So much flavor, the mushroom more than makes up for the missing flavor of meat. I also got a taste of the chicken fried rabbit and it reminded me of a thanksgiving type of meal, something you don’t want to miss. I’ve had better canolis but it was still delicious. The peanut and chocolate dessert was my favorite, it is like a super fancy reeses peanut butter cup with banana and cream.

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Easily could have ordered everything off the menu. Our server Lydia was also so awesome! We had a great experience and will definitely be back Things we ordered: - Buffalo wings - hot butterflake rolls- incredible - roasted corn salad: out of this world (must order) - tempura fried cauliflower: so good! - ricotta dumplings: heavenly - tuna crudo: will order again - wood fired trout: omg yum, perfectly cooked and so flavorful - lamb neck pappardelle: this was the only dish I probably wouldn’t order again. The lamb was a little on the salty side - schnitzel: YUM - Kentucky butter cake: really nice but not the winner of the show - chocolate olive oil pudding: would come back and order 6 of these to myself
