Niu Japanese Fusion Lounge - Chicago - Photo album

The place is a tad bit dark but the food was so good!! The service took a while but I think it's because they were very busy that night. Their sushi rolls are very very tasty. I'd love to return again in the near future.
Had a taste for Japanese food and ordered something to go. The Waygu roll with Uni on top tasted divine. Kirashi is fine, the materials are a bit cheap as you can see from the picture, but it’s Chicago so… Would probably come back if visited again.
The servers were friendly and the food was good. The price of food was high for the price. The lights were too dim, so I asked for a light or put out another candle, but was refused. Compared to the other seats, our seats were particularly dark, so we couldn't see the food very well. Of course, the
One of our favorite spots! I had to write a review after noticing today while looking for the menu that this place only had 4 stars. This location became our favorite spot for delivery during the pandemic and only recently did we actually get to go and enjoy a meal at the restaurant. It did not disa
We came for lunch and we’re very surprised with the quality and speed of service. The interior was relatively spacious and comfortable, with a lot of unique touches. Everything from the salads to the sushi and desserts were very good! While it wasn’t incredibly busy during lunch, I could definitely
Staff is friendly and fast and the food is delicious! Saturday night, I was able to get a table immediately and was helped right away. I ordered the Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen and asked if they could make it spicy and they delivered.
I ordered the mellow yellow specialty roll. It was quite good, and I also appreciated that each roll has 10 pieces. The service was pretty quick, though that may be because I dropped by for a quick bite in the middle of the afternoon/not during peak hours. It's a bit on the pricier side, but the res
From the cucumber water to the delicious spicy tuna chip, this place is fire. Their rolls are fresh, and the soy sauce is top self—great place to eat.
A great lovely environment inside, really gives the chicago sushi lounge vibe. All the food was good, the only problem was, how long it took for the food to come out and how long it took for our order to be taken. But the sushi, was super tasty and we brought home left overs after. Would come again!
Always get the food here because it's soo good. Highly recommend to anyone, especially to those that like ramen and sushi. I personally think this sushi is the best in the city. It's a great place to go out on a first date, and from my experiences, it impresses that someone too.
This place is beautiful very high end and classy. I was not a fan of their lychee martini but let's talk about the food. I dnt like ginger but the pink ginger made me think twice the sushi was good the takoyaki omggg to die for. Ramen was spicy just how I like it and the pork was cooked to perfectio
Niu is a quality sushi restaurant in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood. The ambience is warm and the noise level is low to moderate. Standard fare.
This is a great spot for a date or for dinner and even for bigger parties! The drinks are tasty and the food has been amazing! The warm bao buns are delicious and the every chicken dish I've tried is great! The drink menu is great and they offer a wide variety, including non-alcoholic cocktails tha
Great place, we love the intimacy of the interior and it is clean. The dish we like the most is General Tsao, always comes out crispy. We tried the honey chicken but it was a little saggy compared to General Tsao. I had hot rolls and loved all of them. The appetisers are big and filling. The service
Excellent Japanese Raman and Maki. We ordered 6 maki options and each were very good. Excellent value. Enjoyed the atmosphere, and good service. I will definitely return.
Came in rather late in the evening after a botched reservation on the pier. Was a bit turned off by the fusion element in the name but must admit, we were truly surprised. Our server was nice and efficient, didn't try to oversell anything or work us. Ordered two shrimp dumplings, crab rangoon, and s
Decided to stop by since the reviews were great, and we were disappointed. The sushi was lovely, it was very fresh and delicious. Appetizer wasn’t my favorite, but it wasn’t the worst. As for the drink, our waitress forgot about it until our food was halfway done and it honestly wasn’t the best. Ove
Second time at Niu Lounge and I am impressed! Centrally located in River north it’s a great place to come for dinner and movie with the AMC right next door. The food is great — I enjoyed two sushi rolls with a noodle dish that was unlike anything I’ve had before. Packed with so much flavor and perfe
