Nonnina - Chicago - Photo album

Unbelievable Italian dinner. Giovanni is like family and the entire staff is absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend making reservations well in advance because they book up quick. Everything on the menu is super good! Great vibes at Nonnina!!! 10 out of 10
Everything thing here is fantastic. The food, service, and ambiance leave absolutely nothing to be improved on. I can't say enough about this restaurant! If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely should!
Solid food for a fair price. This was my second time at Nonnina and both times I had a solid meal from start to finish. This time I got the Carbonara which had a lovely presentation, however, it was lacking the classic Carbonara flavor. The dish was good but it felt like it was missing something. Th
We got here after unsuccessful attempt to get a table at another restaurant near by. The place it's really nice and clean, atmosphere it's great, quiet place and good to have conversations. The food 10/10 they make their own pasta in-house every day. Jose was the one who helped us during our stay, r
Not a fan of Italian food unfortunately but this place was okay. Not a lot of options though. Service was great and because the weather was nice, we sat outside. The bread though was amazing so fresh and yummy. The caesar salad was good but I wish there was an option for crispy chicken. Anyway if yo
We enjoyed our food here. A bit touristy but still good which is a nice change for touristy. We mostly had appys and snacks but enjoyed it and enjoyed great service. We would go back
Fantastic Italian restaurant that feels like a 5'2" Italian grandma is in the back cooking everything. Could not say higher praise!
Beautiful spot for lunch! The interior is super cozy and well decorated with foliage. Servers are also super attentive and quick to get food out. The food was pretty good - the sea bass was pretty fresh but a little over seasoned. The pear sorbet was delicious though! It was really great value for
The Squid ink spaghetti was really good. The spicy cauliflower side went well with it. Would be curious to try some other items next time I'm in Chicago.
I made a reservation for four people, but only three of us ended up going for dinner. You will see the bill shows four guests, but I guess it shows that because the reservation was for four. This place has a nice cozy atmosphere, it’s not noisy so that was great. The staff are all friendly and have
I’m not kidding- this is THE best gnocchi i’ve had in my entire life. each flavor melted together so deliciously i couldn’t decide whether to scarf it down or slowly savor each bite! i will genuinely think about how good this dish was forever. the only shame is that it is a seasonal dish 💔
Been to Nonnina many times. I highly recommend both dinner in the dining room and sitting in the classic bar area for drinks and apps. The pasta is hand made. In fact, we received an impromptu tour of the kitchen and saw the pasta machine in use. Sauces are handmade and delicious as well. Drink
Went for lunch. The fritto misto and sauce were EXCELLENT. Best calamari + shrimp I’ve had in a long time. They even give u fried lemon slices in it hehe. The chopped salad was also tasty and the meatballs were solid. Staff was very polite. I look forward to going back!
Delicious pasta choices as well as entrée and appetizer choices in this Italian restaurant close to various theaters. We chose a pasta special of the day of a duck ragu with asparagus over pasta and a squid ink pasta with crab., shrimp, spinach and tomatoes. The duck was very good and the seafood pa
