My wife and myself go to Morton’s for New Years, our Anniversary and for the fun of it. The food and service is always 5 stars, we have been going for many years. We both love the place and the food is always on point and the service is excellent. When also have been to the one in Miami and San Francisco both are like Chicago top notch.
The ambiance, service and food was the best. I didn't think that I would finish my Portehouse steak but I did and only shared a small portion of it with my husband. Desert (soufflé) which was complimentary due to our 19th wedding anniversary was a first for me and will highly recommend it. Thank you Morton's for making our special day even more special.
Our waitress Susan made our experience amazing and the food was amazing as well. We were celebrating our honeymoon and she even took a picture of us and printed out as a keepsake and gave us a dessert on the house! Would definitely recommend and we will return during our next visit!
Dinner on January 23, 2106. Outstanding everything. The server was so polite and welcoming. Explained the menu and offered suggestions to make our dinner for four more enjoyable. The bottle of wine was fabulous. The four entrees were mouth watering to say the least. Cannot offer any improvements. My compliments to this well organized restaurant. Oh, I guess as a side note, a couple sat next to us each holding an approximately 15 month old twin. The twins were perfect. Oh was amazed they could eat a four course meal holding a baby. They were exceptional parents and the wait staff was so understanding and caring of this family. OUTSTANDING Morton's!

Morton's steak house is one of my fav's when it comes to steak house's! I have been to MORTON'S in San Juan Puerto Rico, Atlantic city New Jersey, Hackensack New Jersey and the Original Morton's in Chicago! Every one of them was such an awesome time! All the best recommend to every one! AWESOME SAUCE! Legendary steakhouse baby!
I’ve always had a great time at Morton’s to me this location is the best maybe because it’s the original. Was there December 2, 2017 for a 20 group party and the bone-in ribeye was superb. Everything was delicious...see you soon!!
Per usual- Morton's delivered. We went last night to celebrate my fiancé's best mans birthday. I truly admire all the little things Morton's does to make clients feel welcomed; from personalizing menus to the impeccable wait staff. Dining at Morton's is a humble experience most won't experience at other establishments. They go above and beyond for special occasions. Thank you!

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Loved the atmosphere and the steaks. I had the ribeye which was delicious. And my partner thought her filet was the best she's ever had. Will definitely be back!
We had a great time here celebrating our 3 year anniversary. The service was incredible, we appreciated that they showed you the different cuts prior to ordering. The bread was delicious, their butter was super rich and looked almost like whipped cream. The potatoes were fantastic, same with their caesar salad.
Now it’s time to talk about why this is 4 stars instead of 5... We don’t eat steak that often, and when we do we like when it has a thicker salt crust. These steaks were lightly salted, so while very delicious, the lack of salt didn’t bring out it’s full flavor. This isn’t out of the ordinary for steak houses though, we’ve only been to 2 restaurants during our relationship that were generous with the amount of salt they used.
With that though, this was still an amazing meal. I think we would go back for special occasions.

Updated 6/21: Due to the Pandemic we ordered the to go meal!! I was beyond pleased with the service and the food. We ate maybe 2hrs after pickup and the food tasted as great as it does when dining in. #YouTrulyGetWhatYouPayFor
AMAZING FOOD, classy atmosphere, superb staff and service. Motons went above and beyond for our anniversary. From the custom printed menus to the framed photo. All of which were a surprise. Our waitress Maria was by far the most professional and courteous we have ever encountered. We WILL be coming back next year to celebrate with Morton's again. A+
Good for the most part. Professional service. Good decor. Good drinks and sides. The meat was slightly overcooked but otherwise great quality.
Food was great but the service lacked. Didn't get our menus until we asked for them. Water was just served, didn't asked if we wanted bottled or sparkling. Then the waiter would disappear. Had to ask the servers for refills on our drinks. Hope it was just a bad day for the gentleman.
Started with a Cosmo and enjoyed yummy bar bites; mini crab cakes, burgers, tuna tacos, crab dip, everything was delicious. Indulged in an unbelievable Gran Marnier Souffle to finish. Service is very nice and ambiance is low key and inviting.

Immaculate service, great food, and nice atmosphere. This place is quite the experience and I'd love to come back sometime. We decided to go for restaurant week and Morton's offers one of the best deals in the city. I'd highly recommend going to this location in particular. The only thing that didn't impress us was the lobster bisque. A bit watery and just one giant chunk of lobster which made it difficult to eat. I'd prefer a thicker bisque and smaller bite size pieces of lobster to have some with every bite. The steaks and sides were super good tho and I'd recommend going with the truffle butter also. Enjoy!
I went to the original Morton’s for my 2 year wedding Anniversary for the 1st time!! It was an exceptional experience. The staff made us feel so special! The food was impeccable! The atmosphere was electric! I was so impressed by the attention to detail. The waitress took a picture of my wife and I enjoying our anniversary dinner and gave us the picture in a frame at the end of the dinner as a memento of our wedding anniversary. We were blown away!!! We made the right choice coming to Morton’s!! The steak, scallops, crab cake, shrimp cocktail, salad, bread pudding, and lava cake were out of this world!! We were so stuffed after!! Thank you for making our wedding anniversary dinner such a positive experience Morton’s!! We will be back soon!!

A friend and I celebrated our birthdays along with others a few weeks ago and we had the best experience ever. The service and food was excellent. We got group photos and they served us dessert with lit candles. They made our birthday celebration very memorable. I can't thank them enough. I would definitely go there again when I visit Chicago.
Perfectly cooked steaks. The female waitress that served us our first visit was way more friendly than the gentleman waiter that took care of us last night. She was funny, telling us about patrons in from Spain that night to see the Rolling Stones. Food is spectacular. The loaded wedge salad is a meal on it's own or share; highly recommend. All the wait staff treat you like royalty. Great steaks, real food, cooked to perfection! We tried the creamy spinach side and it wasn't great so I recommend sticking to the steaks and wedge salad.
Let me start off by saying...What a wonderful experience. I planned a bachelor party and went to Morton's for dinner. We walk in the door and we were greeted by an incredible staff and made the night a memorable one. The food was AMAZING!! The steaks were cooked to perfection and the meat was so tender and juicy. This was the best steak I have ever had. They also personalized the menu with a header to congratulate the groom. The ambiance had low lighting and made the place look amazing. I definitely would recommend anyone looking for a incredible steak dinner for any special occasion.
New York steak is petty good! But we should try the prime rib eye next time.
A business associate brought me here on a recent trip to Chicago. Wow. I have not ever been to a full on steak house like this before. I was so impressed. It was crazy expensive but I was not paying. Had the surf and turf and it was doggone delicious. After dinner, we sat at the pub tables for a drink. Truly wonderful once in a lifetime experience.
I have never felt so special at a restaurant in my life. . Our party was celebrating a couple and Birthdays, and they were given a free desert. Our waitress Darlene took a picture with a professional camera and we all got a copy! Oh, and the food was excellent!! Great special occasion restaurant. Thanks Morton's!
