D4 Irish Pub & Cafe - Chicago - Photo album

This is a really great place for dinner! The fish and chips were very good, but the best by far was the bread pudding! The whole restaurant had that great Irish pub atmosphere, and the bartender MJ was incredibly friendly and made some amazing mixed drinks and customized a few based on my tastes and
Found this place by chance, and I'm so glad I did! The shepherd's pie is delicious! Best I've had! They had a bar, high tops, booths, and a library type room with a fireplace. Perfect cozy place to grab some casual drinks or restaurant for a date night or Cafe during a cold day next to the fire. Hon
Easily my favorite Irish pub in the city. Food was actually the best thing about it, and the the atmosphere and drinks were spectacular as well. Got the Chicken Pot Pie and Rueben - highly recommend both! Bread pudding. 🤤
Great place! There is something here for everyone. They have outdoor and indoor seating. They let you make reservations. They have Coke products. great food and service! We had the snicker doodle warm up . Coffee with Baileys and other alcohol with whip cream on top.
A solid Irish Pub. We went as a family with our 6 yo, lunch time. The personnel were attentive and kind, making sure everyone was included in the decision, even the little one. The atmosphere is great, comfy and classic. We had a nice tap lager, lemonade and Irish coffee. All delicious. For the fo
Neighborhood Irish pub with excellent food and kid friendly service. Been here many times – my go to is grilled chicken sandwich, the not-so-simple side salad, and a pint of Guinness. The kid loves the mini cheese burgers. D4 is also an excellent place to watch sports. And love the library room.
Great location with large dinning area and cozy patio. I always enjoy the D4 burger and great selection of beers. Service is always very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu
the Shepherd's Pie and Chicken Pot Pie were delicious!! maybe a bread addition would have been nice, but otherwise fantastic good.
Nice Irish pub, it wasn't crowded at all on a Wednesday night. Had the house burguer, which was great. And obviously a pint of Guinness, perfect. Service was very nice.
Great Irish pub in the CHI. Shepards pie was delicious. I would suggest asking for some bread which made the meal even better.
We were able to get a table as walk-ins. Went here a day after St. Patrick's and was told the menu was limited. The place had a vintage feel to it with books on shelves as part of the decor. I had the D4 burger (medium-rare), which was good. It came with sweet potato fries for a $1 extra. I had the
Great place to grab some very nice beers and delicious food! Have been getting the D4 burger and the shepherd's pie. They are my favs to the extent that I haven't tried anything else on their food menu yet. Also, they have very nice happy hour deals.
One of the best fish & chips I have tried in the US. Loved it with fresh Guinness. Highly recommend!!
I'm 1/2 Irish and thus an authority on the matter. I stopped in here for an Irish coffee at 10am, they didn't judge me. In fact they gave me a complimentary lil scone biscuit guy! Look at that lil guy, so cute. Sit out on the patio if you come here.
Great pub. Proper Guinness pulled pint with various half & half’s w Harp or Smithwicks. My favorite is Dirty Blonde with a Begyle Blonde. Excellent for soccer, football etc watching. For a quiet respite try the library room or fireplace. Big windows with high ceilings complements the clean airy
Casual and comfortable atmosphere. Friendly service. I had the fish and chips and they were crispy, fresh, batter-fried and so tasty. I wasted no time digging in then realized I didn't get a photo of the beautiful presentation.
