This is old school, feel good vibe and food. Frank Sinatra knew that.. he had the ribs flown to the west coast. Hollywood knows this… they film movies here all the time. You should know it… now you do. Ask for the “prohibition sauce”, if you don’t want spicy.
Very good experience. It is a small space. Even though it was busy and felt the crowd (because it is a small space) the Service was great. We shared a cup of chili which was probably the best part of the meal. Would definitely order the chili as a meal if we come again. I had the zesty sloppy joe an
This Pub has a nice environment. The Ribs were 4 out 5. The Onion rings were home made and battered. Cole slaw was fabulous. I ordered a "White Dragon" Liquor Beverage. For the price of $14.00 for one beverage that didn't really have a kick to it, I don't think it was worth it. The $30.00 Rib was ve
Soooo good. Try the spicy Prohibition sauce. Bottles of the sauce make a great unique Chicago gift! I love sitting at the bar. Rivas come fast. I swear this is the place ‘Adams Ribs’ was based on in an old episode of MASH. :)
Chicago baby back rib ! Worth to come and try. Food are delicious. Staffs are really friendly and helpful. Not far from subway station.
One of my favorite places to get falling off the bone baby back ribs in Chicago for almost 40 years now. Always consistent! While the ribs seem to have gotten a bit smaller over the years, they are never lacking in quality. The piping hot baked potato and side of coleslaw are always a favorite. Alwa
Old fashioned bar with good beer and well drinks. Nice menu with good BBQ. The staff is very friendly and hospitable.
Highly Recommend: had full slab of ribs, definitely recommend if hungry. Onion rings with ribs are good, baked potato is very simple, basically just that a potato with butter. This is one of my favorite places when craving ribs. The spicy sauce is not that spicy, so definitely try it. Place can get
Everything about this place was spot on. Ribs and wings were delectable. Our server Mary was the nicest person. We fell in love and told her we wanted to take her home lol. We just kept ordering more food. The entire staff was super friendly and the other guests were lovely to talk to while we waite
Very special ribs, not too sweet or sour, crispy crust and tenderness with juicy meat inside. Drinks are decent, cranberry bliss and twin toddy are both good. The patio section is pretty nice and not crowded as inside, plus it’s warm too. Cannot forget to mention the service is really good here, the
Love this gem! Impeccably clean with amazing service and amazing food. A great bar!
Went with my wife and my in-laws. We did not have a reservation but we got there right after they opened. We had to wait about 10 or 15 minutes to get a table but in the meantime we sat at the bar and had a beer. The service was super friendly and the guys behind the bar were a good nature. We felt
Great place to relax and some great food. Full slab of ribs tonight!
Traditional and old school local bbq joint. One of the best ribs I have had. The onion rings were good but the fries could definitely be improved (probably the only thing that was not so good). The pulled pork also recommended. They have a few sauces, I liked the sweet one. It seems this was one of
It can get very crowded at dinner, but I highly suggest coming here as a late lunch place. Walk half-way into the restaurant, passed the bar to the host stand to get a table or put your name on the list. Great old fashioneds, onions rings are good and the ribs are perfect. Go for the zesty/spicy sau
I have had this on my list since I moved to Chicago 10 years ago. Finally made it and it did not disappoint. The ribs are amazing! If live in Chicago or just visiting, make sure you come to Twin Anchors!
Second time coming, and it has been outstanding! Love the history and the fun ambiance, but especially the food. The pulled pork was great, but it was easy to see why the ribs were Frank Sinatra's favorite! Worth a trip to this part of town especially to eat here.
Very good experience. Got in right when they opened so service was prompt. Ribs were 8/10 but sauce was 10/10...so amazing 👏 Cool to see the history there and the bartender was great! Got a mystery shot too which was potent and definitely had some peach schnapps in it 🤔
