First time here and first time for the Chicago deep dish style pizza. I'm not a fan. It's just a lot of bread. I just had cheese and it tasted fine but nothing special. We were looking for the classic "Chicago deep dish pizza," and we found it at Giordano's. Everything was excellent & flavorful. Highly recommend the deep dish pizza!
I believe this establishment is the original Giordano's as it gets extremely crowded. We dined here on our last visit to the Chicago area and waited a long time to get a seat. I hear the waits are shorter since they accept reservations now, but the restaurant was packed again today when I stopped by
I don't know if this is the best deep dish in town but it certainly is good enough to say you had Chicago Deep Dish.
This location is right off the magnificent mile and features an amazing Monday - Friday lunch deal. About $11 and you can get a personal deep dish and a side. I chose a side salad.
