Review Piece - Chicago

Had a great time at Piece! Our server was great and we really enjoyed our food. The lunch special was applicable on weekends, the food was fresh, and the vibe was chill. Really enjoyed it. The goat cheese should have been called marinara instead - there wasn’t much cheese 😂 but still was good.

Had been wanting to come here for some time. Was the first in the door for lunch and got my beer right away. I was half way through it before the bartender came back to take my order. He didn’t seem as interested in helping me as other people at the bar. The pizza was great and the beer I had was good.

Under construction but once inside you don't really notice... The pizza was very good... Thin crust was able to support multiple toppings. The crust isn't flaky. Service was excellent. Guacamole was delicious. The salsa was more like Pico de Gallo... Mixture of tomatoes, onions, corn, and jalapenos. Nice beer selection with a full bar.

We ordered half non dairy cheese. The other side regular cheese. We had toppings, but they only put toppings on one side. So to remedy the problem they gave us 50% off first pizza and gave us another large pizza on top of that. So I highly recommend this place as that's great customer service.

Haven’t been here in years, still slaps! Everything made to order, very fresh. The spinach dip we ordered was very good as well. Try to go at odd times so you can walk right in and don’t have to wait for a table, gets busy during peak times.

Great thin crust chicken pizza - crunchy is the name of the game. Perfect for 3 people. Wow. What a pairing with beer. Sadly no ciders on tap 😢 good beer selection though.

The pizza at Piece is very good. We had the Heirloom Tomato White pizza and it was delicious. The beers were good too but selection was limited to just 6-8 when we were there. Lots of good stuff coming that we couldn't try now but, what we had was enjoyable.

We arrived right at open on a Friday and were seated promptly. The servers were friendly and attentive. We shared an XL (or whatever the biggest size was) pepperoni, which was massive. The pizza was a brick oven style and was really tasty. I had the golden ale which complimented the pizza nicely. If you’re looking for a break from the traditional Chicago style pizzas, this is your spot.

Never disappoints! Easily best thin crust in Chicago and within a 1000 miles! Had white clam and bacon and a pepperoni. Bacon & onion. So Delicious! Fantastic beer too! And they cut the pizza in pie shape, as God intended!

First timer. Beer was great. Highly recommend the beer flight if you're not sure what you want. Pizza was good, but not life changing. The staff was amazingly friendly and made my 9/8 year olds feel welcome with the waitress recommended kid friendly bar drink complete with drink sword. Thanks for the experience!

This place is nice, the beer choice of beers is amazing. I tried their strongest beer . The biz it will get you going. The pizza is amazing and the employees are great people. Would definitely would come back here.

Been going to Piece for years & it is consistently very good. An astounding variety of options & combinations to please almost any taste. Excellent, high quality ingredients & fantastic preparation. The service is always friendly, the music playing & the sports usually on tv are cool & the atmosphere is fun for groups or hanging solo. Really great beers too. Delivery quality pizza is almost as good as dine-in if the service you choose is prompt. There’s a reason this place wins awards & is still going strong. Check it out if you have the opportunity. 🍕🍺😎

Great place for New Haven style pizza, and beer's brewed in-house! The dessert chocolate pizza is a treat you have to try! Area parking can be a challenge, but Piece is worth the effort.

Good pizza spot, you definitely get a big size of pizza but you pay for every cent of it. Large is $28, seems a little pricey for me but nonetheless, pizza was pretty good! On my scale, it was a 7.7/10. Crust was good too! Very expensive spot, but good spot!

The pizza was tasty, but the price definitely leans more on the expensive side. Their small is more like a medium. Be prepared to share or take home leftovers. Good vibes. Fun atmosphere. I'd probably go back now that I know what to expect.

Such a cool experience. Really trendy and Modern. The menu is also up to date with newer recipes and dishes. The pizza is AMAZING. I would put it in my top 5 in the city of Chicago.

Been wanting to come here for a while and finally made it !! Huge pies, especially the large that's readily shared among 3-5 people. But if you want to try different toppings you can do what we did, order 2 mediums and split them in half if you'd like The sauce just has to be the same if you're splitting one pie We had a group of 4 . Highly recommend fresh tomato, basil, mozzarella and onion! This is what our waiter recommended to get and I really loved all of it. They were very generous with the amount of tomatoes! For the other half, we got the Hot Doug's Atomic Pizza (needed more spice but still very good Their white pizza is really good. Wish we got truffle mushroom on it. Instead we got just clam pizza , something I kind of grew up eating in Hong Kong which was pretty good. They gave us some lemons to lift the flavors up Overall LOVED the crust. Really crunchy and was my first time trying "New Haven" pizza. Almost wished I had a soup to dip the crust in. I still ate 4 slices and ate all the cruat so that says something 7 drinks (5 beers + 2 tequila sodas) and 2 medium pies came to $30 per person excluding tip

Very accommodating for a group of 9 with two kids. High chairs are available for the low top tables. We ordered 2 large pans and it was plenty for our group. The goat cheese dip is great, prefer it over the chips and salsa. Pizza is delicious! The beer flight is fun to try.

We had a great time at Piece. It was nice to find a place that didn't focus only on deep dish pizza. Our server was amazing and the food was good. The portions size of the pizza is huge. The front door staff could be friendlier as they are the first point of contact for customers.

i used to love this place... but their attention to detail is severely lacking. whatever you order, there's a good chance they mess up your ingredients. if you have a food allergy, good luck! piece has severed pizza to me numerous times that included an item i have a severe allergy toward.... which is unfortunate and indicative of their incompetence since i noted the allergy with emphasis upon ordering. when you complain, they defer blame. you want a decent slice and shitty beer and don't care what came on the pizza, despite your order.... sure, go here. if you disdain incompetence and and a lack care for your order and health, stay away. there are many other pizza places that actually take your health and food allergies seriously. never again.

Our first trip here, so we need more exposure to the menu and staff before it gets 5 stars. That stated, our waitress was incredibly competent and kind. Top notch experience in that regard. Our beer was good. Our chips and gauc excellent. We took a pizza home to eat later and it was quite good! A great balance of ingredients! Well done!

The white pie with Bacon and Chicken was average. The Garlic was garlic powder and salt. The amount of Chicken was a bit sparse. Also choice of a white pie with ricotta should be considered. The owner should consult with the Pepe or Consiglio family. The pie also needed to to fired for about 3 minutes longer. Additionally, Both pies were served without a spatula. The Red pie with sausage, peppers and shrooms was much better. The toppings were abundant and tasty. The Kolch beer I had was excellent. Smooth, Cold and easy to drink. The Caesar salad was very good too. It was a nice touch that real anchovies were available. It is a larger open space that acoustically was bogus. No attempt has been made to soften reflective noise. Acoustic cushioning would lower the ambient noise significantly, which would improve conversation at a level below 80 decibels. I wish you continued success. Take a step back and access the current experience. Grazie Mille

I love this place. The best crust, sauce, and toppings. The beer is amazing too.

My daughter suggested it because we have been to almost every pizza place in the city. Great pizza, Service was great, I'm not a fan of noisy places though so I cant give 5 stars but would definitely go back.

My friend and I visited on a Saturday evening and the place is packed, but we still managed to be seated in less than 15 minutes. The beer was good, and the pizza was better!

Incredible Staff, Beer, and Pizza. The beer list is updated regularly with new additions as well as guest draughts. Can’t go wrong with decent pizza and beer

Let's just say it's not the typical Chicago pizza. Very fresh and the sausage has a kick to it. great staff. Glad I went. For a Monday night it was crowded
Slobodan Dzikoski
I could argue they have the best pizza in Town.Staff can be bettet but as long as the pizza is excellent i dont need immaculate service

Pizza is always delicious, friendly staff and great brew selection. I make it a point to stop into Piece each time I’m in Chicago!

It was ok. I'm from New Haven so I wanted to give this "New Haven style" pizza a try. It was okay, didn't remind me of any pizza from home. The brewery portion is pretty nice though.
