Really nice bar restaurant. Excellent food. Typical downtown pricing, not too bad. I felt you could dress casual or dress up. The service was excellent. This visit I just had a chopped salad. I know it's just a chopped salad but wow it was probably the best salad I ever had in my life! Kind of ridiculous to get this excited about a chopped salad but it really was THAT good. I'll be going back.

Bigger then expected. Big bar, nice vibe inside. Simple outdoor seating. More concentrated inside but either would work. First floor access. Food was good, service was good. Would go back. Menu simple but mixture of dishes, and good dessert. Spaghetti was great.

Honest review, came with my family, table for 10 on Mother’s day. My family had a great time. The hospitality and experience was 10/10. I made a specialty pasta 🔥smokey old fashioned was great. I didn’t try the pizza but the kids didn’t like it lol. My sister had a hair baked into her lasagna. Fortunately she didn’t eat too much, another was brought out, the waitress and manager handled it professionally and were accommodating. Our waitress made the experience pleasant. Con: Parking on a busy day there is no valet. Otherwise would recommend.

This place is incredible! The atmosphere alone is enticing! The pasta is fresh bursting with flavors! The meatball is to die for! And do not skip out on the drinks and dessert! Perfect place for a girls night out and even better for a date night! Check them out! I'll be back!

Had a really great lunch at Siena Tavern last week. Food was mostly winner after winner. I started with the Octopus which is maybe the best dish I had on my trip. At least up there. Stunning to eat and to look at. My wife had the coccoli which were beautiful. Hard to go wrong with prosciutto. I followed that with the gnocchi which was awesome. My wife had the mushroom and truffle pizza which was also great. The one big let down were the bomboloni for dessert. Super dense and just not great. I mean, they're fine. It's fried dough, it's going to be fine, but we were not impressed. Of the sauces that came with it only the caramel was great though my wife liked the chocolate more than I did. Drinks were excellent. My #4 was a winner and my wife loved her espresso martini. Decor was great. Service a bit weird. Very friendly and helpful but not overly present including when drinks got low. Also started out by asking about our familiarity with Top Chef and if we knew who Fabio was. When we said we did we got a bit of a spiel about his time on the show and how great he is. Which was weird, especially when we'd just said we knew. We watch the show. Knowing him is part of why we were there, and it was near our hotel and made a convenient lunch. I don't mind it being acknowledged, but the little spiel felt awkward. Not a huge deal. It didn't go on that long or anything, but an awkward start to the visit.

I definitely recommend their House-made pasta!! My husband and I loved our choices: both were very different (Spaghetti more citrus, remembers lemon pepper and Squid Ink Linguini more spicy) We commented that we would return to eat both again! The place is very beautiful, there is a cool song playing, and our food arrived fast. We didn’t order neither cocktails or desserts because we were planning to go to Eataly and eat their ice cream (check out this place too! It’s amazing!) Only one negative point: they mention gluten free pasta availability in their menu, but this is NOT the House-made pasta, it’s a normal penne that you can eat instead of their House-made pasta.. In my opinion it just worth if you are celiac, otherwise, enjoy their pasta!!

Yummy squid ink linguine or other Italian pasta dishes can be found at Siena Tavern. The pastas are made daily from scratch and so the noodles are fresh and delicious. The interior design is clean and plenty of booths or tables to comfortably dine in. Food I had to get the squid ink linguine since it seemed like the most popular and unique dish that they served. The squid ink is used to create the black linguine noodles, but don’t give any kind of squidy taste which I thought was good. The noodle texture itself was very good and perfectly cooked. The pasta sauce was another part that I really enjoyed. It was creamy and just had a little bit of heat - not too spicy. The half lobster tail to top the dish off really made this pasta extra luxurious and delicious. Atmosphere The interior looked nice and and looked like it would be nice for groups of friends or family with the number of booths that there were. The noise level was not loud. Large windows allowed east views of the street. Pricing The prices seemed a little above average for pasta. The squid ink linguine was definitely on the pricy side but seemed justifiable given the squid ink and lobster. Service Service was not good from my experience. Our server gave us attitude when we asked for one of my friends dishes to be made to-go when the food had not come out yet since my friend had to leave early. I can understand the kitchen can get busy and take a while for food to come out but I would have hoped for a better experience when trying to get a dish to just come out in a box. Other

Came here for a nice dinner with my coworker and she ordered the Burnt Pepperoni Pizza and I ordered the Rigatoni Alla Vodka and OMG! It was so delicious. The Burrata was seriously the best part about it. Our server suggested mixing it up with the pasta for taste and wow! I cannot wait to travel back to Chicago to eat here again!

I was in town for a quick site visit and decided to stop in for lunch. The atmosphere and vibe this place offers is amazing. Just what I needed after a red eye flight and a quick 2 hour meeting and site survey. I sat at the bar and Alex was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and made the best recommendations. I had the No. 2 specialty cocktail, the Tuscan Kale Salad with Grilled Chicken and the Almond Praline Torte and it was likely the best meal I’ve had out in a very long time. I hope we bring our show to Chicago because this is a place I will frequent. A little pricey for lunch, but so worth it. I can’t recommend this place enough. 5 BIG ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing, wondering, fantastic service. Our server was being trained in, and even then, it was great. The person who was training her even checked in on us as well. The food was delicious. We came here celebrating a birthday, and they were so kind and brought us a birthday donut with a candle. The margarita pizza was sweet, salty, and cruncy. Perfection. And omgosh, don't even get me started on the chocolate bar. I don't see it on their menu, so maybe it was a special, but It tasted like a fudgy Ferrero Rocher. it's very dark but still a gorgeous restaurant. Thank you so much!

We had pasta pizza and few drinks. This place has nice options for the vegetarians and vegan. I love the food and drinks options they have especially for the vegetarians. Also this place is located in really lively area.

Just had the most amazing experience. I am from Sacramento and would say if you are visiting Chicago, dont miss this restaurant. We got the gnocchi and lasagna as well as house cocktails and a dessert, and the entrees were quite possibly the best gnocchi and best lasagna i have ever had. Top that off with a pleasant atmosphere and excellent service and this is a must go place. Delicious!!

The Google food images really sold me — full of color, nice plating, and mouthwatering options. Nice ambiance, and not too loud. I really enjoyed the wagyu meatball, and the bocatini was amazing. All of the pastas our table got were really good — gluten free rogatini, and the . The garlic bread that come with the meatball wasn’t too thick, which I love. Didn’t leave feeling too full. The food overall was definitely a 5 star moment, but a knocked a star for the service. Our server didn’t check in on us once throughout the meal. Came at the very end of us noticing us just sitting there, “oh you really polished your plates.” Uh ok. Really didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. But the food was great so I would go back. The pizzas did smell amazing.

Visited this place during brunch on a weekend. The interior is amazing. We requested for lunch menu and they were kind enough to accommodate that. We tried the rigatoni alla vodka and gnocchi. Both dishes were flavorful. We didn’t order any drinks or dessert. Server was attentive, overall it was a wonderful experience. I would be back again to try other items from their menu, would recommend.
