Beacon Tavern - Chicago - Photo album

The food was good overall. It's standard American fare. We filled up on the apps so we just ended up sharing the half roasted chicken and a Cesar salad for the main. The blueberry that we had for dessert was good too. I'm glad I went there but wouldn't go back to eat a second time.
Perfect location, relaxing out door seating. The hosts are really courteous and made sure we are taken care of. Got chicken drummeettes with hot sauce. Sauce was genuinely good, one of the best hot sauces had in long time. The clam chowder was excellent. Monkey bread was freshly baked and roasted po
We went out on a Thursday night and it was still pretty busy. This trendy restaurant has a great food and good service overall. Some reviewers commented on their selection of craft brews, but unless you've only been to restaurants that serve Bud Light, then the selection is expected. The popular shr
Five star environment and setting, four star food and three star services. Beautiful and elegant restaurant. My Duck Confit was well prepared and delicious balance with Sauerkraut, however the service was spotty, overall it is a four star experience.
Dinner tonight was excellent. Service top notch. There's a beautiful dimly lit dinning area which has a very relaxing and quite comfortable atmosphere. The menu choices offered a small variety of quality selections. Tonight's dinner was absolutely awesome. Spiced Rohan Duck Breast roasted pear, ches
Amazing food and cocktails! Billy Lawless has the Midas touch. The Gage Hospitality Group never fails to deliver a fine dining experience! The staff is always top notch, especially George and and Allison, who always make you feel like you're family!
We had some of the best service ever here. The place is so cozy, with beautiful candlelit tables. The food was absolutely amazing, we highly recommend the shrimp toast appetizer. For the service, everyone was insanely polite. They were friendly, helpful and always there when you needed them. Definit
It was good but not great. Good drink menu. We had 3 apps, ceviche, blue crab lettuce wraps and Baked brie (loved it). Easy location after one of the river boat tours and a very nice patio to dine outside. 3 of us shared the Brisket- huge portion, it was visually amazing but average taste.
Excellent Lunch at Beacon Tavern. The service was impeccable. Beyond attentive to every need. I could go on and on about the service but I think you get the point. I went with the Lunch Prix fixe menu ($28) and had the following: Clam Chowder Smoked Trout Nicoise: bitter greens, avocado crème fr
Great atmosphere food and drink. I enjoyed the burger with its chiles. Bartenders were knew their drinks and offered cocktails and beer including microbrews. There is a nice bar in addition to the dining seating. Worth the visit.
