Tanta - Chicago - Photo album

Tanta is amazing. Ambiance is great - very comfortable. The place is very clean. The service was phenomenal - super friendly staff, very attentive, our server gave great recommendations, our dirty plates were cleared immediately, our waters were never empty, I wish every restaurant was this good at
This restaurant offers traditional Peruvian dishes where you taste new ingredients and spices. Everything was very tasty. Cocktails great. Nice service. Making a reservation outdoor Patio was a good decision💯 Lovely time! 🍸👌🏻
I love peruvian food, and I have a Tanta in Chile also, so I had big expectatives. The food is good, the service too, but the atmosphere, even they have great decorations, is mixed with american stile , loosing a little bit the peruvian experience. Altogether, I would recomend this place, the food
Tanta offers the flavors of Peru amidst the heart of Chicago. As a dedicated aficionado of Peruvian cuisine, I enjoyed my visit thoroughly. It was the perfect blend of fresh, flavorful ingredients woven into traditional recipes, enhanced by a contemporary flair. The restaurant is finely decorated an
Love this Peruvian food restaurant. Tried new food but not too new. It was great. Services from the staff is wonderful. Many dishes I want to try but can’t try them all. Will probably go back to try another dishes. recommended.
What an incredible experience my family and I had at this restaurant. The atmosphere is very pleasant, incredible service from Paulino, but the best thing without a doubt is the food with its spectacular flavors. Everything was very delicious, the drinks, the starters and the main dishes. 100% recom
Amazing food, service, and vibe at Tanta 🔥 We ordered two pisco sours, one Royal and one Classico (both were good - Royal was slightly better in my opinion). For two people, we ordered 3 appetizers and one main dish and thought that was enough food. For apps, we did the Empanada Tasting Trio, Cevi
Great vibe, great food, great service. Love the acidity and boldness of food - not shy nor held back. Pulpo (octopus) was my favorite - bright, smokey, and fruity (from the sauce).
Really nice rooftop and tasty Peruvian food. Highly recommend the empanadas, the ceviches and the octopus. Friendly servers and central location. Portion sizes could be a touch bigger but nonetheless very happy to return.
The food & drinks are always tasty & of high quality. Service is also on point. The El Chingon with the rococo pepper ice orb is my fav drink there. I always get ceviche and the octopus & anticuchon (veal heart) anticucho. Their happy hour menu changed a few months ago for the worse. Not much of a d
Peruvian food and eats in the River North area of Chicago. The food, ambiance, and servings were all on point. I’m glad I had Tanta as my first Peruvian food experience and can’t wait to try it again and tell other people about here. Food I came here with 2 other coworkers and ordered waaay too muc
Where do I start? From the service to the food to the drinks everything delivered. Our server was great and he made several excellent recommendations. Not only was the food good but it came out quick and was super fresh.
First time in Tanta! Came here in a business trip and was perfect for the entire team. This place is hopping during happy hour and dinner, even on a weekday. Drinks are on par. Loved the dishes they had on the menu.
Enjoyed Tanta on a Thursday evening visiting Chicago for work. My good friend picked this spot - what a great choice! Had a Prickly Pear Margarita - it was ok - not much liquor frankly. Then I enjoyed a Pisco Sour!!! Oh my! I could have had ten of these! So delicious - plenty of liquor. They go down
Went here for my birthday brunch and absolutely loved it, not only was the food amazing but the service was even better. The bottomless mimosas were amazing, my friends and I still rave about them. They made me feel incredible and I definitely will be going again.
Came here with friends for a birthday dinner. The staff were pleasant, but they got some of our orders mixed up. They eventually fixed the issue. The food was okay. I got the criollo, which was smaller than expected. The drinks were good. The ambiance is more of a dim-lit cozy environment, so it doe
Cozy and fun rooftop restaurant. Very interesting cocktails, tasty food. The cebiches are super-good, but really everything on the menu is worthy. Cool vibes and people, would definitely recommend it for a brunch or celebration.
Stopped in for happy hour. We had the ceviche “Lima-style”. No fish but rather octopus and shrimp. Loved the Peruvian corn two ways in it too. Happy hour is bar only-get there early to get a seat. Beer specials were decent too. We will definitely be back for dinner sometime.
